Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Terrible Hotel Stay Guest service is horrible. I booked a non-smoking room for my family on our way back to Chicago. We were greet with a smoking room. Their initial solution is to provide a ionizer to the room. After a long conversation and explanation that my young daughters have allergies, they finally provided us with another room on the 4th room. 1 of the 2 elevators were under maintenance. After waiting 5-10 mins, we finally got to our room. In addition, it was a cool night and my family wanted to adjust to a warmer temp. It DOES NOT WORK. All night long, we were cold. Horrible experience at this Holiday Inn! July 18, 2014

Every single staff member went above-and-beyond to ensure I felt very well take care of, even those just passing in the halls... and they all thought ahead so I didn't have to ask for anything! My room was much larger than I expected, and exceptionally clean and up-to-date; the A/C worked perfectly; the mattress and pillows were extremely comfortable; a surplus supply of soft towels were in the large sized bathroom. My only disappointment was mini-fridges were not standard in the rooms. I was offered to have one reserved but without guarantee that it'd be available. The staff offered to let me use theirs behind the front desk, but that's not convenient. I was told there would be one in each room after the renovation next year. July 3, 2014
