From the assistant manager and people at the front desk to the kitchen and wait staff, everyone was very professional and a joy to be around. The only negative things about the property are the distance from the historic district and the construction going on. The location is a good 15 to 20 minute walk from the historic district. This was ok for me, but for anyone less mobile you will have to drive over and pay to park or take the trolley tour (both options are $12.00). I fully understand the construction is part of doing business and will be completed in time. Neither issue was bad in itself but these are the reasons I scored the property value at good instead of excellent. December 24, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Updated and very comfortable The hotel as extremely convenient to the historical district. Walking was a great option for those physically able to do so and the trolley seemed easy to get to for those who did not want to walk. The room was updated and contemporary and both the furnishings and bedding were new. Breakfast was above average. My only complaint is that the maid did not clean the room during our stay. This was disappointing but we only stayed two nights, so we simply left no tip. December 22, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 Excellent staff As a frequent guest at the Holiday Inn in St Augustine Fl I decided to bring my mentally challenged sister to the hotel for Thanksgiving. Well the experience was wonderful. Not only did they take excellent care of us from check in to check out, they went above and beyond to make my sister feel special. As a care giver for someone with special need it is very comforting to have a place like the Holiday Inn in St Augustine care so much for witch I am truly thankful. December 8, 2014
