Nice hotel in Saint Augustine, but if you are walking the downtown historic district there are other options that are truly in the heart of the downtown area. This is still a few blocks shy. However, if you are in good physical condition it is a pleasant walk.
Nice clean, and updated rooms. The hotel does not provide complimentary breakfast, but there are plenty of options withing walking distance for a morning breakfast.
Staff is super nice.
The pool was shut down for having too much chlorine, by the health department. This saddened us because it was hot and we had literally just jumped in. For Florida, this is probably a big deal to get right. So I'm sure they will fix it.

During my business and leisure travel to Florida, I decided to visit St. Augustine and visit the oldest city in the U.S. When I arrived at the hotel I was happy to find a hotel room that was comfortable, and consistent with the room standard that I use during my travel.
The breakfast was exceptional and the wait staff was very accommodating. (Never had an empty coffee cup)
Thanks for the great stay and I will definitely use this hotel again.

If you are offered room 104, better ask for a different room, or find another property. The window looks out into the maintenance court (wheel barrels, air conditioners, etc) and a nasty looking metal bar glue to the window.
