This is the second time we have stayed at this location. Staff are pleasant. Compared to many other IHGs we find that this offers a very nice suite and the convenience of Timothy's for snacks etc. The restaurant is handy, although the food lacks a little. The buffet is a little lackluster and the meals just average. On the whole, I would recommend it to most people.

We stayed recently at this hotel. Rooms are spacious and very comfortable. Decor straight from the latest magazines. We were in a suite and for the few dollars extra was well worth the extra money. We may choose to stay here more often rather than in Niagara Falls. 20 minutes we were at the falls and even closer to beautiful Niagara-On-The Lake.

We chose the Holiday Inn for convenience to the QEW to travel to the hockey tournament. The hotel, staff and accommodations were excellent. We will definitely come back to say.

found the mattress to be most supportive. unfortunately I found that this part of the customer review was somewhat more demanding than I wanted to do, but in order to continue on I have to submit a written comment that is more than I wanted to do.............

We stayed here while attending a sporting event nearby. We were here with 170 kids and adults of our sports club. The kids enjoyed the pool, fitness and hot tub areas. The big draw after the banquet dinner in the ballroom was the huge bowling alley attached to the hotel, called Parkway Lanes. Kids and adults alike had a great time!! There was a bar for those who wanted a social drink, and after 9pm, the regular lights were dimmed and disco balls and neon lighting were turned on and fun music was turned up!! It was way better than everyone retiring to rooms and watching TV - very social and you could walk inside directly from the hotel!
The rooms were quite standard, but clean and neat, and we were in a very quiet area. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. There is a huge brand new outlet mall 10 minutes away which looked interesting. It's right by the Garden City Skyway bridge.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Beautiful Momma Stay and relax and have fun
My daughter and grandson came to St. Catharines for a few days and we treated ourselves to a stay at Holiday Inn. It was purely for relaxation away from our daily routines. From check in to check out, we packed in a lot of fun with swimming, hot tub, bowling, dining.
The black out blinds ensured that we had a good night's sleep which is sometimes a problem in a hotel. The beds were extremely comfortable and the pillows are even embroidered with SOFT or FIRM. Yummy. Having a coffee shop in the lobby with drinks and snacks was great with a little six year old. We didn't use it, but with a microwave in the room and entrees in the freezer section of the coffee shop and salads and sandwiches, you could even make your own meal in your room. There is also a forest themed dining room right on site. Overall, with just a one night stay, we felt we had had a vacation. All in one stop shopping! Great! And in a few minutes, you can be on the QEW to Niagara Falls or Toronto.
