My husband and I and our registered therapy dog checked into the St. Cloud Holiday Inn and Suites on June 25, 2015. We traveled to St. Cloud for a conference/professional training I was attending on Friday, June 26, 2016. Our dog is very much a part of my work with children and families and it is critical that she be able to travel with and stay comfortably with us as we travel.
When we registered at the hotel, all three of us were welcomed to the hotel. Our room was located on the outside of a hallway with easy access to grass and walking area for our dog. The hotel made it so easy for us to be sensitive to and respectful of other guests while we easily took care of her needs.
We were also able to make arrangements for a late check out (2:00 pm) as my conference was not over until 3:30 pm. How sweet for my husband and therapy dog.

Had a quick get-away with the family and they were definitely entertained. Plenty to do for all ages. The rooms were nice sized and clean. Would recommend to others, particularly for a longer stay to enjoy all the activities.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Cindy9110 Nice place~
Nice place. Easy access to everything. Comfortable, clean room. Bed was very comfortable and lots of pillows. TV worked great, and the amenities were perfect. I'll stay again when I'm in the area. Just not on the highway side of the building unless your going to be getting up early anyway. Looks like a great place for kids, however, I didn't have any with me.

I was relaxed and able to sleep - for a 3:00 AM shuttle to the MPLS airport. It was appreciated very much.

Great place for children to enjoy their stay away from home. As a grandparent it is important to have quality time with my grandchildren --I want a nice place; to just relax and enjoy my time. This was surely a guarantee from this Holiday Inn.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by TakeMeWith Great staff at the front desk
We were upgraded to a suite which was spacious and very much appreciated. It had a nice kitchen area with a larger than normal fridge than you would expect in a hotel. We were a little surprised to find crumbs on the carpet and used sheets in the sofa-sleeper, but it was taken care of by the staff. The bathroom is very large but under utilized. The vanity is only about 30" wide and cramped. The shower did not have a single place to set shampoo, place your soap or hang a washcloth. There is a lot of space in the bathroom that could be put to better use. The furniture was dated and the AC was very loud so we all wore earplugs, BUT the beds were very comfortable and we had a great time. We would stay here again if the need arose, but check the room out first.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by AndiR Good hotel for family with young children
It looks like this is an older hotel. It was easy to find and It was clean and for the most part ok. If you have young children this is a great hotel. There are multiple pools and games to keep them busy. Our room was away from the pool area which was a good thing because the pool area was very loud. The disappointment was there is no complementary breakfast at all, not even a voucher for complementary breakfast items at the little cafe right in the hotel.
I would recommend this hotel only to families traveling with children. I will not stay at this hotel again because I prefer the newer Holiday Inn Express properties.

We were so impressed with the front office staff. We wanted an early check in and we got it without any questions. They were friendly and caring. Later, I needed change for a $10 and the gal at the front desk asked if I was having a nice time here. I told her we napped and she had such a genuine smile and said, "Good for you guys!" We'll be back.
