Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent Room but smelly 1st floor Everything about this hotel was great except for the smell on the entire 1st floor including the restaurant. The entire floor smelled musty. But the above floors smelled fine. I do not recommend a room on the 1st floor. July 31, 2015

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great location This facility is very close to the Zoo and walking distance to The Hill. Very close to downtown as well. Lounge facilities are not the best but the pool was great. Facilities were clean but the decor not to my taste (retro 80's). The staff was great and went out of their way to assist us. Housekeeping seemed rather understaffed in that rooms sometimes did not get cleaned till late in the afternoon. Overall the property is a good value considering the location vs the price. The rooms are clean and and the beds are comfortable. We have always had good experiences during the times we have stayed there. We appreciate Holiday Inn and the staff for their service. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by AC Unit - bad then great customer service My first night was horrible. The air conditioning did not cool down my room. I had to sleep on the couch by the ac unit to have any relief. I called the front desk that Monday night and the lady wasn't helpful, didn't offer any type of assistance and made excuses. She said there were no other rooms available. That very next morning I went downstairs and discussed the issue with Brittany, who replaced the previous lady. Brittany was wonderful. She sent maintenance to my room. He was there quickly, checked the issue, told Brittany I needed to be moved and miraculously a room was available. I'll only visit this hotel because Brittany treated me with great customer service. The other lady needs to be retrained. July 19, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Won't stay again We have family in St. Louis and visit often. This hotel is close to many of them and we've stayed there a lot. This last time the room rates were extremely high, and someone who checked in on the day we checked in was quoted a much lower price than I got online. The bathroom smelled like mildew. One day our beds weren't even made. The yoghurt for breakfast in the cafe was the tiny snack size. We will not stay there again which is too bad because for us the location is great. July 17, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Customer Service I made reservations at a nearby hotel for our family reunion. But, when I arrived I was not pleased. The manager at the Holiday Inn-Forrest Park was so gracious to allow me to check in along with my other family members. I was so happy to be able to spend quality time with my family! The entire staff showed great hospitality! And, the pillows were marvelous!!! July 15, 2015
