The facility was very accommodating to our needs. The staff were wonderful.The chef was not only great, he made sure we were happy with our meals. The beds were extremely comfortable, the lighting in the room was great, the temperature was perfect and it was very clean. I slept very comfortable and I look forward to returning. April 13, 2016

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Needs Improvement I have stayed in several Holiday Inns in TX over the years and have felt good about my decision to do business with Holiday Inn. The reasons I selected the hotel in the order of most important to least importance were: 1) working hot tub, 2) renovated and newish room, 3) price/value, 4) has a continental breakfast. I loved the hot tub. After several days of learning a new massage modality and the flight to St. Louis, my aching body needed some warm water and jets to relieve the joints/muscles. It was in working order, the water was clean and hot and the jets pumped with force. There were clean towels nearby. My hotel room was just as it was depicted in the photo, clean, restocked, and since I have allergies, I appreciated the tile floor. The tub and shower worked well. Loved the granite counters! Beautiful colors and artwork. The price was what I expected for the quality of the room; there were no surprises. There was no continental breakfast, though I am pretty sure the website gave me the impression there would be. There were muffins available for a fee and coffee. I walked to another building in the complex to the cafe, which was another experience altogether. I don't recommend the cafe. But, the ability to put the charge onto my room was a plus. Check-out was incredibly easy and the bill reflected the amount that my confirmation said it would be. However, the walls were so thin that I did not need an alarm to get up at 6 a.m. I awoke each day to my neighbor's bath water swishing and the toilet flushing and the doors slamming, luggage thunking. My aft. nap was interrupted with 7 - 10-yr-old's running the floors, yelling and laughing. On the night I needed to study for both my written exam and my demonstration exam, the sports teams that stayed in the hotel had their 12 - 17 yr old's running the floors, playing practical jokes on one another, etc. Not once did I hear an adult nearby. I tried with difficulty to study from 8 - 11pm. I called the front desk and spoke with the night attendant. The hallway running I experienced moved to the parking lot; eventually it stopped out there, but guess where they all went? The room right above me. Running, stomping, loud music till past 11:30 pm made it hard to concentrate for my exams. I can't renew my license if I don't pass. Getting to sleep required alternative assistance. I was awakened at 6 a.m. with the bath water and blaring alarms of my neighbors again. I won't stay at this facility in August, for the second level of this class. I won't recommend the hotel to other associates needing to take the class, who will be coming from out of state. I let the instructor know of my experience, because she wants to be able to recommend hotels to prospective students. Clearly, the great renovations that were made must have skipped adding insulation to the walls. You get a slap in the hand! April 11, 2016
