Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Disappointed. Booked an executive room on the club level with access to the executive lounge, which of course was not open when we were there. I stay only at Holiday Inns for work and our executive room was very average at best. Only 1 of the 3 elevators was working, and that one was being used to haul equipment. Most of the ice machines didn't work and when we asked for some ice from the bar the employee had smart remarks. The pool area had the same litter in it for 2 days. Had to listen to swearing in the restaurant both times we ate there. January 21, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Comfy beds and pillows I have never slept better in any hotel! The beds and the amazing pillows were the BEST! It was a busy time for the hotel as we were there for a concert but the shuttle service was awesome and we got there in plenty of time and picked up right away! We will certainly stay again! The food was also very good, had the shrimp sandwich! Drinks were good and the atmosphere friendly. Thank you! January 18, 2015

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Economic stay, not worth the savings. Wanted a 1 day vacation in the St. Paul area for a few winter events. Found this property online, and it appeared to be a good value, had a nice pool and a breakfast. Hotel was modest, but clean. Staff were nice and friendly. Pool area was under construction which was fine, but pool area was very cold. If you were swimming or in the hot tub it was OK, but sitting at the tables watching the kids, it was cold. TV service was not working well, free movie channels were not working. Not able to find things for the kids to watch. This would not normally be a problem as we brought their tablets, but the WiFi did not work. Everything looked connected, but there was no service. Finally, The $15 breakfast was a complete joke. The entire menu was OJ, Coffee, Doughnuts, Yogurt, Bread, Bagel and a Toaster. If I would have had 1 of everything, it would not have come to $15. All of this laid out on a table in front of the elevators in the lobby. Only place to sit was the 4 chairs in the lobby. If this is the breakfast you want to offer, fine, but it is not worth advertising and definitely worth $15. January 13, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by No breakfast as promised The hotel is a nice place to stay. The free shuttle is a nice option to have. The rooms are nice, quiet, and comfortable. My only complaint was the fact that we were told by the main desk when we checked in that they had a continental breakfast in the morning. We went to the area the next morning and there wasn't anything there. I was then told that they only have it during the week. I watched a few other families expect breakfast and was disappointed as well. A sports team was also staying at the hotel and I watched them expect to see food and were also disappointed. I guess that by having the continental breakfast during the week, they only cater to the business people. The restaurant on site is just okay--not a lot of options and the food was fine. Expect to go out and about if you want food or bring your own. No microwaves in the room though. January 3, 2015

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great location for Xcel We like to stay here when going to The MN Wild at the Xcel. They offer a shuttle there and back. We actually called ahead this time and had a town car waiting for us when we arrived. The staff is very helpful and friendly. December 23, 2014
