This is a great location and I am frequently up in St. Paul on business in this area - in fact - in meetings in this very hotel. The rooms are so out of date and screaming for upgrade. The beds are old, old, old, and just plain uncomfortable. I have stayed in this exact hotel a half dozen times in the past five months - different rooms - and all the beds in every room are in need of an upgrade. The pillows all have an odd - "sweat" "body odor" smell. The rooms are clean but the bathrooms could use a bit more attention by the cleaning staff. The fridge units in some rooms are so noisy - I usually just unplug them. The televisions are okay and so is the internet access.

Sleeping was very pleasant and the room was softly lit with only the sheer drapes pulled.

The staff was wonderful! We stayed cuz we did a color run in Maplewood and the staff was very accommodating for ride and extra towels for clean up.

I stayed on 6/17 9:00 PM and checked out on 6/18 at 4:00 AM. My goal was to stay relax for few hours before my next flight.
Check In: Check in was OK but didn't direct me to the room. Its 113 and room was almost in a side way.
Room: Was pretty clean but while preparing coffee, I found that coffee bad was opened. Someone probably opened it but didn't finally used it. Disgusting- you put someones unused stuff for next person. Bathtub draining was not good- Another disgusting thing.
Checkout: While checking out, I found that billing was wrong. It was billed to one of my colleague who also checked in with me. I went to the desk but no one was there then a guy came in and asked checked out? Not even good morning!!
I explained him that check in was wrong. He took long time to fix it. I handed him my room review. Please give it to manager. As soon as I left, he tossed the review- What a shame!. Manager- If you can find my review sheet, please send it to me ! I will withdraw my review. Else- You should give me a free night. It's my challenge.

Happy hour offers $5 appetizers and $3 well drinks! The shuttle bus will take you anywhere in a 10 mile radius. Overall, I had a good experience at this location. The only problem is that breakfast is not complimentary and there was no breakfast buffet as advertised. I had to order breakfast from the breakfast menu.

Overall my experience was great! My room was always clean, everybody was extremely friendly. There was a lot of room to work with groups. They put on an exceptional networking event for my company. However, the walls were very thin! Multiple mornings I woke up to my neighbor's alarm at 5:00 am, because I could hear it through the walls. I could also hear people's conversations the next room over. This is the only downfall to the hotel. Aside from that it was great! The pool was wonderful, the hot tub was great and had awesome work out facilities. The complimentary coffee in the morning was a plus as well!
