I recently stayed at the Holiday Inn for a conference. I was very satisfied with the conference facilities, my room and the on-site restaurant. The facility is clean and modern. Staff were friendly and professional. Had an enjoyable dinner at Amber Grill on the patio. Only cons were that the wifi was not reliable and there were several fruit flies in my room. The front desk said they would look into it, but there were still several flying around. This may have been something related to the area and time of year.

I made a reservation and was told that no accessible room was available at that time. When I checked in no one asked me about weather or not I wanted an accessible room but when I got to my room it was accessible and worked very well. Had all the features I needed and helped make my stay much more comfortable.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Niece99 Comfortable bed and nice people
For the most part it was a great experience. The only complaint was that one of the beds was not clean. There was hair and blood on it. They did come in and change everything for us. It was just not to good to find a dirty bed. Pool was good.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Zoopie Very Clean Room & Service was Excellent!
I really enjoyed my one-night stay. I didn't have any problems at all. Room was clean, comfortable and quiet! I recommend this Hotel to others who are traveling and need a Hotel to stay. P. S. I did miss not having TCM on the TV!!!!!, but I made it and all was fine. I will surely stay again next year as I have stayed two years in a row! Same great service! Keep up the good work!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by carbuff1950 Massive suites
This is the most elegantly appointed hotel in the area. Last year I booked the whirlpool suite which was excellent. This year I booked here again and choose the two room luxury suite. I don't care for the main reservation system as there was confusion as to which rooms were which and mistakes. But calling a supervisor got things straightened out fast. And calling the hotel got more courteous replies ,also. The suite is the size of a small apartment. The living room is well furnished and about 20x15, as well as the bedroom. The king bed is pillowtopped, triple sheeted and comfortable. The wet bar is un-stocked so no worries as to costs. To the side are two separate sink areas and pass through there to a huge toilet/shower room. Lots of hot water and a 3 position spray head. Lots of doors to separate each area and two large closets. The furniture is boring contempory but good quality. Overall the room is a bargain. We heard absolutely no noise last year on the first floor and a bit more on the third, but still very quiet. The lobby is beautiful. I am amazed that Holiday Inn has both the Express and the Convention Center is a relatively small town. I will be a repeat guest with them every year. The only flaw was they are testing the Keurig Coffee system in rooms which didn't suit our tastes. But, it shows they are always looking to offer what might be upgrades to their hotels.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by AMS1 wish I could have stolen the bed
The bed was amazingly comfortable. I could have spent the entire weekend in that bed! The pool and slide were fun and clean. Pleasant atmosphere in the hallways and has a friendly staff. I enjoyed everything about my stay except when I entered the room I saw two 10" spider webs in the upper corners of the room next to the ceiling. Easily fixed but made me wonder what else was being overlooked. Glad I saw them before my girlfriend or we may have moved to another hotel. But coming full circle, the bed made up for it.

I've had the pleasure of staying here in the past for conferences and it never disappoints. The rooms are clean and comfortable, staff are friendly and the food is good. There's a nice assortment of weights in the exercise room, not every property offers that. The conference space is also comfortable. Food is a bit expensive in the restaurant but it was very good.

We stayed with a group and received a "Group Discount". We booked our room about 1 1/2 months in advance.
however I heard through another guest that they paid half of what we did thru on online hotel site.
The hotel wasn't full and staff wouldn't give me the price the other guest paid.
Shop around for online deals prior to booking with a discounted "Group Rate!"

We were in Stevens Point for a lil league tournament. The staff was very courteous. Not all hotels are polite when you show up with two 12 yr old baseball teams. The rooms were nice. The beds were comfortable. The kids enjoyed the pool. And OMG the restaurant was AWESOME!

This is the first time our group stayed at the Holiday Inn in Stevens Point. From staffing the front desk with several people so our group had a quick check in, to the comfortable beds with the variety of labeled pillows to the great food and waitstaff in the convention hall, this was the best hotel experience I have had staying in the Stevens Point area.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Tm13 Noisy location of restauant's outdoor seating; nice rooms though.
Hotel and convention center in large L -shape with restaurant at one end. The outdoor seating would be better to the south and buffered from hotel and parking. Room facing S - heard all the restaurant, convention room and parking lot noise.
Nice pool/waterpark features and extra parking in rear that can accommodate vehicles with trailers or trucks. Interior of rooms very nice.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Magie Banquet food
The banquet food was very poor. Friday night we had a buffet. The sliced up chicken in so tough you couldn't cut it. The pork was better.
Saturday night I had the steak that was dry and the mashed potato served with it was very dry. No gravey or au juice. Just little cooked carrots with the meat and potato.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by hotelguest2013 Very clean, very comfortable
Overall I really enjoyed my stay here. It was a very convenient place to rest while attending a conference in the attached convention center. Desk staff were polite but not very friendly; it's good enough for basic transactions (check in/out), but don't expect them to roll out the red carpet to welcome you.
The ground floor layout doesn't flow well; it's a bit of a hike to get to the restaurant. I only had a drink at the bar, so I can't comment on the food, but the atmosphere was very nice.
I took one star off for "able to relax" because the hotel plays piped music on the guest floors during daytime hours. It's not too loud, and I appreciate the ambiance they're trying to create, but once I was in the room, it prevented me from a mid-day nap/recharge.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by LisGV Beautiful space
The room was very spacious, bed was super comfortable, staff was super friendly, pool area was clean and nice. I was here by myself for a conference, but would come back and bring my family. The entire hotel was beautiful, clean, kept up. I was able to relax and actually slept very well. Room was quiet and comfortable. Would prefer if room had a thermostat to control the temp of the room yourself.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by WAHADirector Not Large Group Friendly
We moved our organization to this hotel last year. We have four meetings per year, with one of them having several people attending. Sometime in past years it has been well over one hundred people. At our April meeting we set the agenda for the May meeting, which is our Annual meeting. We then go back to our districts and share the agenda with our constituents. Following that these people then book a room if they want to attend our annual meeting. However this hotel would only hold our block of rooms for a May 16-18 meeting until April 16th. They would not agree to extend that hold period. I will be asking our President to move our four meetings to a hotel that appreciates our business.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by RickO Great Conference Experience
Another great conference experience, everything from quiet clean rooms with comfortable beds to a great conference set up. Everything from the conference set up, meals and staff was excellent. As busy as the convention center was, the staff was still continually checking on us, asking if we needed anything and taking care of any of our needs immediately. They even made suggestions for changes for our next conference.
The bar and restaurant are clean, comfortable and a fun place to meet with friends and co workers. Everything from the drinks, appetizers to the meals were great. I did have one small issue which was resolved by the manager. Clearly customer service is the number one priority here! Thanks again for a wonderful conference, we will be back again!

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Basketballdad Water Park, bathrooms and more
First thing is that the hot water in the shower. A big hotel like yours, which seems to be a lot nicer then others, and many of our parents from our basketball team said the hot water for showers was scarce on non existing.
Second thing is your hotel advertised a water park. One slide is not considered a water park. When you have 4 or more basketball teams staying along with other travelers and they have one slide and a small pool to play in does not count as a water park. Maybe it should say pool area with a slide and hot tub.
Lastly our team was dissappointed that we could not have our team/parent meeting/dinner on Friday night without paying for a room and food or pay to bring in our food. Other hotels we have stayed at during the state tournaments charged less and seemed to offer the same if not more then your hotel. So we were forced to find a location that would accomidate 50+ people which was not near our hotel.

We stay here every year for our convention, and every year your place gets better. I loved the Kurig added to our room and the selection of items to brew. I am not a coffee drinker, but you had a tea option. Loved it!

I absolutely loved my bed! It was so comfortable! The room was beautiful. Always clean. Did I mention how comfy the bed was??!! We were there for the WACO convention. It was awesome! The food was great! Amber Grill was amazing! My sister said it was one of the best meals she has ever had! Some salad with blue cheese, Asian ginger dressing and steak!
The bad news is, we were cleaning up the booth we had just purchased, there were boxes everywhere. We put the small stuffed animals into garbage bags for portability. When we got home 1 1/2 hour away, the animals were not with us. We think the staff was trying to clean our area quickly cuz it was near the buffet line, and tossed our bags in garbage! It was a $300 value! That hurt. But they were efficient!

We arrived during a convention and the parking lot was full except for a parking spot near the front door.
The front desk was very informative and helpful.
We went to are room and were very impressed with the size set up.
The following morning we had breakfast at the Inn's restaurant. We were very impressed with the service, the food, and the price. It was beyond our expectations.
Great place to stay

The first thing I noticed was how clean the room was; but what really caught my eye were the shower and the towels. The towels were so soft and fluffy and the shower/bath you just stepped into. Very nice. Very friendly front desk personnel.

The young man working as a bartender (Amber Grill) on the night of March 5 was distracted and it took him over 7 minutes to wait on me even though I was only one of three people at the bar. When he brought my wine he failed to set it on a coaster and placed it down so abruptly that some of the wine spilled. I tried to get his attention, but he left the bar area and when he returned I could still not get his attention so I could ask for a glass of water. When he was at the register he rested his left foot on the empty rack that holds glasses and then as he leaned over the bar to talk to a waitstaff his foot rested on the rack holding liquor bottles while the cuff and end of his pants were brushing against the bottles and the serving spouts. Disgusting.
I informed the other bartender of my observations and concerns, he was very good bar tender. He was the shorter of the two young men with longer hair than the young man who waited on me.
The rest of staff at the hotel were great and have been in the past, this was the third time I stayed there.
