- The rooms were too cold, as they often are. Some colleagues choose to not stay there due to temperature of rooms.
-There are no electrical points next to the bed, which means phones must be kept on the desk over night when charging
- Dinner came out late however staff handled it well and we received complimentary drinks

My wife is disabled with Parkinson's. We continue to enjoy our visits to this hotel where we are always treated with kindness and consideration. Add to this the ambiance of the hotel and the food quality and for us we have the ingredients of a perfect stay.

I have been several times in past years to this hotel and have always been pleased with the service. The upgrading of the common areas has been a great success, it would be a good idea to bring the rooms up to the same high standard. They are in an acceptable condition but rather dated. Staff were excellent and are really the main reason I return to the hotel.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by jonboy27 Great, friendly hotel made my holiday
This hotel is an example of the Holiday Inn chain at its best.
From the moment my wife and I checked in, we were given tremendous service and made to feel as if anything we needed would be dealt with.
On the day of check in, I phoned to request that a travel cot be placed in the room for our baby, and also a fridge to keep the baby milk cool. Both had been sorted out for our arrival.
The hotel is very conveniently located for everything in Stratford, and while clearly an older building, has been completely renovated downstairs with the lobby, restaurant and bar and lounge areas pristine.
The room we stayed in was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The only gripe was that the wi-fi in the rooms was a bit hit and miss, but it didn't matter too much as we were on holiday.
We booked the first night on a dinner bed and breakfast deal and the meal was very enjoyable in the restaurant, which was quiet at the time. The breakfast was superb and well worth forking out £10 extra each for, as they leave nothing off the menu. The atmosphere in the restaurant is very relaxing with nice views across to adjacent river. We didn't go out on the terrace, as it was too cold - but that's not the fault of Holiday Inn!
The swimming pool was perfectly adequate, warm and well maintained, which was great for our baby to splash around in.
I would particularly like to thank Nat on reception who was always very polite and helpful and helped make our stay so enjoyable.
It's unlikely we will be back in Stratford upon Avon in the immediate future, but if we ever do come back would definitely stay at the Holiday Inn.
