Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Nice people but disorganized Our reservations were confused. They failed to properly assign rooms to our group, failed to properly check people out and created a new account for my rewards points caused extra work on my part to straighten everything out. The food was delicious but expensive. The front desk staff was very nice but the cleaning staff was slow, came late in the day and missed us all together one day. Then on Thursday night, there were people running little shops from their rooms, hawking things from their hotel room doors, which felt uncomfortable as we walked down the hall, especially when we saw that the room next to ours was selling live reptiles! They then proceeded to party loudly into the night. The location was excellent for our event, but otherwise, I would not choose to stay there again. It was overpriced for the quality of guest experience. November 23, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Comfortable bed, could use a couple amenities The bedding and bed was very comfortable. Everything looked new. Suggest adding microwave and small refrigerator for room. We were staying several days and to save costs bought food at grocery store. We had to buy small cooler to keep some of the items. The location to the ice rink could not be better. November 23, 2015

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Fair value, renovations still ongoing Renovations are officially complete but were obviously ongoing. There was an extension cord running through the elevator hall out tot he outside, and work going on on the awning out front. The area outside my window by the pool was still torn up and in a mess. the equipment in the gym is all c old and almost unusable. At a quick glance, the new rooms look nice, but upon further inspection, little details have been missed: the windows were made smaller, but the runners for he old curtains were left at full width, and are mounted to a piece of painted plywood, the old curtains remain, stained and torn from the old room, the old phones remain, still stained (from what I can only assume was a previously smoking room) the toilet tissue holder was already broken, the wallpaper is already peeling off the corners in the bathroom from steam, the thermostat on the all is new, but the actual air conditioner is old. Little things like this make a big difference. November 20, 2015

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Two nights at the Holiday Inn Express Nice room, comfy bed, lots of clean towels. There is remodelling in progress, which has already made a great impact on the interior appearance of the hotel since my last stay here 3 months ago. My room had a space for a mini fridge, but I found it odd that there wasn't one in the intended space. Since I wasn't in the room much I didn't fuss about it. November 12, 2015
