Stayed at this site July 23. Construction going on, but not a problem. I understood that the sewage smell did not come from the hotel, but the smell did seep in. The elevators worked part time, had to use the stairs from the 4th floor a number of times, dim lighting in the bathroom, no clock radio, pool was dirty/closed, plastic was over the windows. These were the issues. I expressed that I was unsatisfied with the property and our stay and the price paid for the night. I did not ask for a refund, but I did ask for 10,000 points added to my rewards account. The desk attendant (manager?) agreed, but to this day (July 31) none have been posted.

For the nightly room charge this is not a value. The rooms have been remodeled but they apparently skimped in some areas. The toilet seat is very cheap plastic. It is almost impossible to shave in the bathroom because of only dim lit lighting around the mirror, that is the only light in the bathroom. The air conditioner appears to be over ten years old and is noisy. The curtains in the room barely cover the windows.
The staff is friendly and courteous but the room rates are too high for the accommodations. Realizing that the hotel is being renovated, it is still discomforting seeing construction workers gathering in the evening drinking out in the parking lot.
