I always stay with you and enjoy the staff who are efficient and courteous , position is easy for the airport however the rooms need a revamp ......looking a bit worn ....getting worse for wear each time ......

Hi Again,
Although I have just fill a review out it would be remiss of me not to mention the following.
1. 15 Years staying at this hotel.
2. My rating of this hotel (and I have stayed in plenty) is the best in and around Australia.
3. The staff who service this hotel from the little guy who mops the floor the the top managment are just first class, it not because they all know me its because they really care. Thank you all the people of Sydney Airport hotel for making my life just that much better.

We always stay at this hotel when we are flying out of Sydney
( either domestically or overseas ). We have averaged 4 to 5 nights a year since 2007 and really appreciate the quality of service and convenience.
Our recent stay was as good as usual but the room service menu has been taken up a notch - the prawn and chorizo salad was amazing and my husband loved the chicken and sun dried salad. The breakfast is always great and we love being able to make our own juices.
All the staff are friendly and capable and nothing is too much trouble.
My only quibble is the expensive Internet, especially as I purchased a 24 hour package which, for the most part, was slow or non-existant. I ended up having to use my I-Phone to read and send my emails.
Currently we are in France and the Internet has been free and included in the cost of the room ( considerably less than what we paid in Sydney ).

We stayed one night both before departing and after arriving back from an overseas holiday. The airport bus service was great (charged direct to hotel), staff very professional and warm, and the breakfast in the morning was the best! They even went out of their way to cater for our 4 year old who wanted some bread rolls with his bacon. Thank you for a very comfortable stay. Would highly recommend.

We were guests at this hotel on two different occassions and had two contrasting experiences. On the first visit (for two nights March 15-17), we received no recognition for being Priority Club members. On the second visit (one night April 2) we were greeted at check-in as members and were accomodated in an upper level room with extra ammenities.
The hotel offers dependable airport transfers and is ideally located close to a rial station.

My second stay at this hotel. It is ideally located for the Airports. The staff were very helpful and obliging; the room was very comfortable and a good size; the breakfasts are great and I was sorry to leave ...not something I say about other hotels I've stayed in on business .
Would definitely stay here again, when I return to Sydney.

Of all the airport hotels the Holiday Inn, in our humble opinion, is by far the best. None others can equal the Park Stay Go package which means every detail is taken care of - i.e. check in, hand over your car keys, receive your to and from airport transfer tickets, have a quiet night's sleep, receive your wakeup call, collect your packed breakfast, 5 minutes to the airport , have a worry free break away and then retrieve your vehicle until next time. If you have time after you check in, have a visit to the bar, have a great meal in there or an even better one in the dining room, and try to make time for what we consider the best buffet breakfast in Sydney but the packed one, for an early flight, is substantial and delicious. The staff is great, the rooms are comfy everything is clean and we love it.

After travelling Australia for 6 weeks, this was the hotel near the airport we needed for our relaxing vacation in Fiji to end one of our bucket list trips. Excellent hotel and bar restaurant was good, as well as the buffet breakfast. Could not try the hotel restaurant as it was closed for the Easter weekend. Great place to stay for connecting flights.

We stayed her with our 2 young children the night before our flight back to London. The hotel is very close to the airport and they provide a shuttle bus if you need it and also there is a train station down the road. The food was okay and children ate free. The pool is disappointing as it is small and you can't actually swim but there again it is great for kids. I would recommend this place if you need somewhere to stay before or after your flight. The airplanes do fly near but you do not hear them at all.

This was a great stay. I have no complaints. Comfy bed, nice bathrooms, clean and well kept. Free internet in the business center. But, its gotta be one of the best hotel breakfasts I've ever had, that was a big plus.

The Sydney Holiday Inn charges the price of a luxury hotel but fails to deliver the service associated with such a facility. The shuttle service to and from the airport was erratic in following its schedule, used a old clunker of a bus, pulled a beat up trailer and charged six dollars each way. It was not a good start to the stay. To charge $27 for using WiFi is a bit of usury we could have done without. We had to go out to a nearby cafe to check emails. A credit card is required to check into the hotel then a 1.5% fee is added to cover the cost of the card. The impression given is that the property is desperate for every dollar they can extract from their guests. Normally Holiday Inns are a place for the night with clean sheets, hot water and are relatively quiet. The Sydney Airport meets this requirement but charges four times the normal rate.

Lovely stay, great buffet breakfast, i have special dietary needs and there was so much choice i easily found enough food for me, very comfy room, travel cot provided was a bit ropey so used our own, but other than that, very comfy bed, great bathroom, large bath, very clean, very helpful staff, friendly. Shuttle from airport efficient and friendly. Would recommend.

After 14 days visiting Australia our family wanted to stay at a very nice hotel prior to flying the long trip home to the USA the next day. This Holiday Inn exceeded my expectations. It is a very modern & clean looking hotel that is just a few minutes from the airport. The staff and services provided were all excellent.. We were able to have food and beverages in a relaxing setting that were high quality without having to leave the hotel. The rooms were modern, clean quiet with all the amenities. The beds were very comfortable and we a great night of sleep. The hotel breakfast options were outstanding. The check out time of 11AM (2PM for Priorty Club Rewards members) was the latest that we saw in the places that we stayed in Australia. In summary, this hotel had everything that we were looking for. It was a great value

Had a lovely stay at your hotel. Chose this one because it was close to where we had to be and we were pleasantly surprised at how quiet it was (expected some noise from the airport)! We have decided that we will go and stay there again when we leave for our next holiday! So easy!

The hotel is in a fantastic location near to the airport
It's in a quiet area so there isn't a lot to do nearby
But the main benefit is that the hotel is just 200 metres from Mascot station on the Airport Link into central Sydney which is very cheap ,with a regular service and takes only 15 minutes
Absolutely brilliant and good fun to travel on a double decker train
Probably would prefer to stay at the Airport Holiday Inn rather than in central Sydney

Tracy and Jeremy were amazing. They helped me over the phone to find the property and didn't mind my repeated calls. And Tracey further assisted me on how to find my way around the city, after finding out what I was intending to do for the rest of the day. Great people and they made my day and stay wonderful.

The staff were so very helpful from the minute we checked in to the moment of our departure. Each night we had dinner at the bar --- fabulous bar food at reasonable prices. (We were too pooped for a formal dinner). To top it off , the bar maid was terrific! The breakfast was also very good, quite a selection of foods. All in all, the very best Holiday Inn we have ever stayed in!!!

I left the chain to a competitor after being platinum member years ago. But from time to time I give them a try thinking that maybe they changed, but only to get disappointed. In this case was the slow internet. I don't think these people have yet realized that internet is not a privilege anymore but a necessity. Just like phone service, especially what traveling for business. Very disappointing!

Of all the sites and hotels we navigated to by GPS in both Australia and New Zealand, this one was the most difficult to find. One of the problems is the lack of a street number for the main street address. GPS systems many times cannot pick up on intersections that have a side street component such as yours. It was a frustating experience and since there are many choices around that airport, I would recommend to most people to select another hotel. If I had known this prior to the booking, I would have done so.

We received a warm greeting after a long tiring trip. Room exceeded expectations in quality and comfort. Parking package very convenient for short trips. Shuttle to airport on time and arrived at airport promptly. Recommend.
