The staff at this hotel really made my stay great. Breakfast staff, Jenny and Lisa always ready with a smile. Panko at the front desk is always helpful, friendly and effective.
Looking forward to my next stay in January.

Just opposite Paddy's Market, Chinatown, Market City, Qantas Centre. Also near to the light rail stop, and within walkable near bus distance to Central and Town Hall rail stations. Also bus stops at George Street allow easier travel including 555 free CBD bus.
Only minor con is the internet (free for reward club members) is activated in 24h blocks. There is no option to renew ahead of time, so one will have to wait for it to disconnect, disrupting all existing work and activities, then request a new 24h activation.

The parking for this hotel is nowhere near the hotel and took fully 1 hour to sort out in peak hour traffic very stressful being country folk. My husband took a wrong turn on the way back and ended up on the harbour tunnel. The website should clearly state that the parking is not at the hotel.
The checkin was slow with our booking lost.
The seafood buffet that they rave about on the internet does not exist.
There was only one person in the whole hotel that took the time to acknowledge us and make our stay enjoyable he was in the breakfast room.
