Great hotel and only negative is that the bathrooms are in dire need of an overhaul.

Enjoyed our stay but somewhat disappointed that the Rooftop Terrace that we were so looking forward to spending some time under the stars sipping champagne was not accessible from 11pm :(

Just go to the roof top pool and see why this hotel fits the bill for site seering visitors to Sydney. Don't get much better.

Stayed here before we caught the Voyager of the Seas cruise ship. Close to the ferries and there was heaps to see and do right at our door stop. Was great waking up and seeing the Ship docked almost outside our window. Ideal location for the tourist who wants to go to Luna Park, Taronga Zoo and Darling Harbour.

Room size is below par compared to other Holiday Inn's in Sydney when you have two adults and two kids sharing the room. The mattresses are not as comfortable as per other holiday inns in Sydney but the location does bring it back to worth staying for ease of going to the key tourist attractions in Sydney ( Toronga zoo).

We were here on Dec 30th and this was a great location for the NYE fireworks, sadly we couldn't stay past the 30th to enjoy their rooftop pool/NYE firework show. Will recommend to anyone visiting for business or leisure. Quiet rooms in a great location. Staff was well trained for the NYE crowd. Will stay again if in the area.

Some might say The Rocks is too touristy. So what, with plenty of great restaurants (Pony, Baroque), watering holes and breakfast joints within walking distance why not stay here. Not to mention the Sydney Theatre Co. just around the corner means culturally The Rocks, well, Rocks.
