Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 HolidayInn East Taipei v.gd except the toilet The location is very accessible via puplic transport and MRT. Quiet environment. The hotel would have been excellent had the toilets of Rm 1221 and 1222 been renovated. Cracked floor tiles and sink tops make the dirt stayed deep and engrained... making the toilet looks dirty and unkempt. Nevertheless the room and bed linens were clean (inspite of old torned ones) and for the price, I would not complain too much The staff were superb friendly and helpful and.... that kinda make up for all the inadequacies though. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by some gliches during the stay I checked in the hotel from 5th Mar and out 8th Mar, my birthday fall on 7th Mar, there are no special greeting for my birthday, I sometime doubts what the hotel did with the birthday date which is mandatory field. Anyway it is not big deal as I celebrate less less birthday nowadays. the breakfast still need improvement as no changes of menu since long time, everyday and every time is the same old thing, no excitement at all the shuttle bus service schedule need to be revise as not convenient thanks March 14, 2013

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Awful wi-fi in the hotel. We couldn't use wi-fi in our room and didn't have any good treatment for this matter. We even couldn't use cable by laptops in our room. When we checked in at front desk, they told me we had wifi in the whole building. It was our business trip in Taipei, not for vacation. We also mentioned about this important issue to the reception at the first day. What's wrong with the hotel? Do you really care about what the clients need? They just asked us to change the room in the last night, and we were going to leave after few hours only. They told us they had solved the problem because they wanted to change our room. Do you think it makes any sense to ask guests to pack their luggage in the midnight before few hours for checking out? March 4, 2013
