Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Desch88 Poor Sound Proof & Air Conditioning
The sound proof is really bad. We booked for 4 nights and have to checked out on the 3rd day to move to another hotel in the city center which we had a much better sleep and confort. 1st day we was put into a corner room near the lift which we can hear guests walking to and talking at the lift from as ealy as 7am including hearing traffic control whistle outside. Hotel changed us to an inner corner room on the 2nd day. This room should be better but sound proof still not good as we can hear sound like pilling of construction work around 7-8am too, but it's less compare with the 1st day. On the 3rd day, we do hear the hotel staff pushing trolley passed throug our doors also around 7am, apparently that corner link to a lift for hotel staff use only. Eventhogh has a door but the sound do came in plus some guests noise on checking out in the morning too. The changed room on the 2nd & 3rd days is bigger with 2 king size beds, we do not need it as we only 1 couple but the air conditioning properly getting old we felf sweat on the leg during sleep. Adjustment of the fan speed from 1 to 3 was not obvious. Overall not a good experience.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by pyyylei Wonderful stay overall
Special thanks to Brenda for the great and extremely friendly service!!
Also, had a warm welcome from Sabrina, Patrick and Jeff for hassle free check-in with detailed information and maps, etc.!
Location is not great but the shuttle bus helps a lot when timing matches so I only had to take taxis twice during my 5 day stay there. Also, the helpfulness of staff compensated for all these.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 Pleasant Stay
I recently stayed at the Holiday Inn in East Taipei on a trip to visit some family friends. My Chinese is not great by any means but the majority of the hotel staff spoke English and German which made getting questions answered much easier. The room was clean and had plenty of nice touches such as free bottled water, slippers, and wicker laundry hampers. It felt very homey. The hotel restaurants, while more expensive than the places around town, were not unreasonably priced and offered a variety of selections. The currency exchange rate was fair and the hotel shuttles were a dependably way to get into town. I was very happy with my stay and would recommend this hotel to anyone going to Taipei.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 Good service & reasonable price
I stay here because of my daughter's wedding party.
I have to postpone my check out time, and they agree
and by free. The other side hotel will charge half day's
fee, if you can't check out on time.
I am very appreciate they offer this service to me.
