Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by 前置作業週到,硬體有待提升 這次入住有預先來信詢問交通與枕頭的安排,相當貼心。房型的升等相當令人滿意,一些小贈品也頗讓人驚喜。但不可否認,從內到外的硬體都已顯老態,浴缸排水孔周邊的龜裂與鏽蝕也令人卻步。週末的高住房率,讓整個lobby都被接待團體旅客的圓桌佔滿,場面著實突兀。 平心而論,服務人員的水準很好,但業主對於硬體維護與更新的態度頗為消極。雖說只要掛著IHG的招牌就會有源源不絕的會員上門,但總覺得台灣這唯一的HI應該要更積極一點。 December 14, 2014

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Inconvenient location The hotel's remote location is very inconvenient. My family and I on holiday found it very inconvenient to return to the hotel for a short rest or break as once we leave in the morning, it is more practical to return only at the end of the day. That makes it very tiring for us. The hotel shuttle service operates only hourly and drops passengers only at 2 stops in the city. This restricts our flexibility of departure and drop off. Pickup from city stops to return to the hotel is also not guaranteed. We have to call in advance. In addition, the small shuttle bus can accomodate only 5 passengers. The buffet breakfast could be better. The choice was limited. Replenishments were slow or limited. The food was not tasty. Ambience of the breakfast area was poor. The room shows signs of wear and tear e.g. with the furniture. One of the bathroom towels had 2 fairly large holes in it. I commend your front office staff though for very friendly service. Minus: far from the Taipei City center, taxi ride will be 10 min at NT 250. Can improve on the following: increase the capacity of the shuttle bus - can only take 6 persons now December 8, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by stay experience i stay in East Taipei Holiday Inn for 2 nights. The staff are friendly in general. The food was exellence. However i can only rate an average for this property due to a few reasons: 1. the property seems old, not bright, not warm, sound proof not good, i can hear people talking and walking outside. 2. the breakfast area not classy, it is like the 3 star hotel type, many round table and people share the table. 3 Last but not least, the point i care most is the hot water, is not hot at all, i couldn't take shower at one morning dueto the water is colder than my body temperature, i won't come and stay again during winter.
