Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Dirty Shower/ Not Cleaned When I woke up and entered the shower, I saw a used piece of soap on the soap bar. This made me believe that the shower had probably not been cleaned. When I picked it up with a rag, I saw hair on the bar of soap. I inspected the floor and saw more hair. I was ina hurry to get going so I turned on the hot water and flushed out the showeras best as I could and took a shower. As I was leaving, I dropped off the piece of soap at the front desk and asked the manager to call me since he/she was not there. I am still waiting for a call. My Phone Number is on file. I was very displeased with this hotel. I stay at a lot of Holiday Inns and this is the worst. I understand there may be problems beyond control but cleanliness and managerial responses are a must. I rate this hotel as the best of any I have ever stayed at. The staff was courteous, polite and very helpful in every manner. The room was clean and comfortable and the location was great... Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Bad stay, no management responce I have stayed at this hotel on numerous occasions, always satisfied, booking through Priority Club, and usually book for the buiness group I'm traveling with. The other individuals don't want a bill with my name & address, hence the start of confusion thats been going on for years. But up until last Sunday night this was a minor irritation. Upon arriving this past Sunday, they lost my reservation, booked me into a noisy room (constantly running toliet & high pressure fill-rate), later that night - next doors room "toliet exploded" the clerk exact words, causing the the maintenance staff to wet vac/steam clean. This trip I had my wife & kid all tucked in bed but we were ready to move, no offer to move us but the staff apologized again and offered us a free breakfast pass which I usually get via Priority Club. Next morning, we're on a very tight schedule for he FSU walk through and the shower head malfunctions. Side note didn't mention to wife or staff-as I tried to get the shower head to work correctly, I noticed curly hairs smeered on the ceiling- GROSS! At the check out - The clerk said they were "really" sorry! Yes they are SORRY! At least the breakfast was great. I'll never book a room there again. January 16, 2013

The reason I like to stay here because of the excellent staff and service they have. The staff is always freindly and professional, from the front desk to the restaurant. I also get good value for my breakfast at the restaurant especially it always comes with friendly smiles. This has become one of my favorite hotels. CND January 16, 2013
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Holiday Inns down hill slide In the past I have enjoyed staying at Holiday Inns. Over the last few years, I have noticed a downward trend in quality. The beds were not confortable. The cleanliness of the bathroom was not up to par. The TV picture was almost unwatchable. There was a surcharge for breakfast. The rugs in the halls and room was dirty. The food is very good for dinner and we do plenty of entertaining in the bar and restaurant. Holiday Inn has been the one property that has been inconsistent about atleast recognizing platinum status and their customer service is hit or miss. I am not one hunting for an upgrade or free amenity, just a simple acknowledgement and 'thank you' for your loyalty. With that said, this trip to holiday inn I had a great check-in experience with "sean" and the people who were in front of me in line agreed. He showed patience, very 'hospitable' if you will, and overall "nice guy." Out of all of the front desk staff I have had contact with, at several IHG properties, "sean/shawm?" is the best! Kudos! I guess in a hurry to get to the next in line. Haven't gotten my free water like the person in front of me or the beer behind me. and for checking out I was getting my bill placed under the door that hasn't happened the last 3 time. However, on my last trip, I have to report that the breakfast service and food preparation was poor. My order took (both mornings) almost twenty minutes to arrive and one morning it was under-cooked. You guys were good enough to not charge me, but the time delay made me late for a meeting. When I stay with you, I normally eat dinner in the restaurant, but because of the bad breakfast experiences, I went elsewhere for dinner. Other than the restaurant miscues, everything was good. It was an old and worn hotel, but that wasn't the problem. Old and worn may still be clean. This wasn't. I went online and found this hotel had a vacancy and booked it immediately. twenty minutes later we were in the Holiday Inn Conference center and were greeted by the most precious girls that welcomed us, checked us in and gave us (still warm) oatmeal raisin cookies. Everything in the hotel was spotless. We have two and a half more years of trips to Tallahassee to see our son and we will NEVER stay anywhere else. October 20, 2012
