The hotel was clean and in a good location. The hotel staff was very helpful and friendly -- especially in the restaurant. I would recommend it, especially for those wanting to stay near the airport or the mall.

I would highly recommend this hotel. We arrived on Thursday, July 26th, check in time was not until 3:00 p.m., however Cali who worked behind the front desk was outstanding and very helpful. She went above and beyond the call of duty to assist and accommodate me and my roommate. She had the shuttle driver drop us off at the mall for lunch. The shuttle drivers and the assistant manager were outstanding also and they went above and beyond for us. They made us feel welcomed and special. The assistant manager picked us up from the mall and came back to the hotel and went behind the desk to check us in. I thoroughly enjoyed the staff and the professionalism of the staff just made my day. If I am ever in Tampa again, I will definitely stay at this hotel again. Kudos and hats off to the staff a job well done!!!!!

My room was on the 11th floor. The 11th floor was way too hot. As soon as you walk off the elevator the heat was just unbearable. The AC in my room ran constantly but the temperature never got below 78 degrees. Not sure if it was just that floor or not, but for being a limited access floor it should have been nicer and more comfortable.
The food in the hotel restaurant was okay. I only ate breakfast there. I get about the same type/quality of food at other IHG locations and they are "complimentary". I watched other people that were staying at the hotel walk in confused not knowing if the food was complimentary or not. NO ONE was ever there to greet people as they entered the restaurant and there were NO Signs stating to wait for waitress or serve and seat yourself. Poor service in the restaurant.
