Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Wonderful stay We loved our room. High quality bedding , plush pillows. The room was quiet . I had zero safety concerns for myself or my vehicle . The young man who checked us in was courteous, fast and extremely professional . They should want to hang on to him . We checked in late and exhausted and he was wide awake and ready to assist . We desperately needed rest and had an excellent quality sleep there. Amazing breakfast and we were on our way :) February 18, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Exceeded my expectations I stayed at the Holiday Inn in Temple/Belton Texas off and on for six weeks. I was very impressed with this hotel. The rooms were updated and nice. The desk staff took the time to make sure my comfort was top notch. I especially was impressed with Jeff and Jake at the front desk. They always took the time to greet me and they even greeted me each time by name. The front desk staff also made sure I had the same room all but one time. I am glad that I chose to stay here while in Belton, TX. February 17, 2015

I had trouble getting my computer to connect to the internet and the treadmill is about 10% faster than it thinks it is, but the scale (in the fitness center) thinks I'm 20 pounds lighter than I am...so, maybe that's ok. Other that those three small things, the hotel is absolutely great! February 9, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Friendly Service The staff here is one of the best when it comes to making you feel welcome. They made me feel like I mattered as a customer. They were friendly, attentive, and professional. The wait staff is personable and committed to customer service. I never needed to ask for a thing after I placed my order. They often checked to see if my needs were met, without being a nuisance. The housekeeping was very good. I travel to the area often on business and will stay here from now on. February 8, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by The Best in Texas This is my home away from home. I spend 3+ days a week at this hotel, and the staff have became family. Restaurant has great food, very clean. Bar has every drink you can think of! Good hospitality, good environment. Rooms and bathrooms are always immaculately clean. Even my toilet seat is left up, so I know it was cleaned thoroughly. Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Not supportive of Military Guests Although the reservation process and checking in were easy, I decided to remain at this facility for an additional night. I asked for a military discount and the clerk told me that this property is privately owned and does not offer military discounts. The reason . . . "Close proximity to Fort Hood". To me, all the more reason to offer military discounts. The room was extremely noisy. If there wasn't a train going by blowing it's horn, the highway below (IH-35) made up for it. There was light coming into the room from basically all around the door. This too caused the lack of a good rest. The bed was uncomfortable, especially on the right side. The bathroom was a real joy. The first thing notcied was the toilet seat up as if the toliet had been used. The bathroom is so small that the door when opened is only inches away from the toilet. You have to close the door to get to the shower. We did remain in Temple, Texas another night but at a competitors property. That property was quiet, had a free hot breakfast, plenty of room in the room, clean and did offer a military discount. January 30, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by QUESTIONAL SERVICE CHARGES? Hotel was clean and staff was responsive and professional. No continental breakfast. I WAS INFURIATED WHEN I RECIEVED BY BILL AND THE HOTEL HAD ADDED A $2.99 SERVICE CHARGE. We had arrived late and used no hotel amenities and required no service or help beyond checking in. When I ask the desk clerk about it, I was told that it was an environmental impact charge, and she would be glad to take it off my bill. When I stay at a nationally branded hotel, I expect to be treated fairly and honestly. January 22, 2015
