Room was immaculate and service was great! Even though we checked in at 10:30PM the Bar Tender kept us happy!
The only complaint I can forward is house keeping, on a Sunday morning, knocking on the door at 9:15AM...give me a break.

We recently stayed at the Holiday Inn in Temple. The hotel is very nice and clean. The staff was very nice and helpful. We stayed at the end of the hotel closest to the highway on an upper floor and could hear all the highway traffic. Usually I can mask the sound with the air conditioner fan set to continually run, but this wasn't an option. I do not consider myself a light sleeper and usually can sleep through anything, but it was difficult that night. Next time I will ask for a room on the other end of the hotel and will see if that makes a difference.

The rooms were very comfortable and the hotel is in an up and coming area in Temple. There is a Golden Corral being built right next door. The price was great, even though I used my reward points for the stay. The hotel staff were friendly and attentive. The hotel is also easy to access and close to restaurants and shopping. I travel to Temple each year for a meeting and have stayed at another local hotel, but I will be staying here every year now!

While the hotel, all inclusive, was fine, the hotel staff was exceptionally responsive, helpful, and polite. During our 8 day stay we asked several times for assistance in locating local and regional business addresses. Each and every time, and with a smile, the front desk attendant (Christie) got us the correct address as well as the best route to take in getting there. Although her response might not have been a major part of her day, it was significant in making our stay pleasant.

This hotel really was a great place to stay. The room was nice and cozy. The food was average and drinks were a little pricey, I am not really certain how they do enough business to stay open in the restaurant. I can't remember the name of the staff but the man at the front desk and the man working the restaurant were very nice and very helpful, some of the nicest people I encountered in Texas the entire week!

Convenient location. In future will need to use laundry but find the 9-3 times inconvenient for my working schedule. Not sure how I will get laundry done at end of work week before I travel to a new location

Bar drinks expensive. Bar closed early. Supposed to close at 10:00 PM, closed before 9:30 PM. Breakfast was pathetic. Food sparse, awful and very expensive for quantity and quality.

First, although I received a confirmation from Holiday Inn, when I tried to check-in, the front desk person said that it had been sent to him incorrectly. Then, he was unapologetic and blamed the central booking people and offered for me to call them to confirm that it was their mistake. The room was adequate. The restaurant could not cook a hamburger for me. The first one they brought out was burnt to a crisp. The high point was the very nice waitress who tried very hard to make things right and offered excellent service. I would not go there just for the waitress.

My husband and I were looking for a room in Temple to comfortably watch the All Star Race on Speed channel. Unsure of whether or not that channel was included in the hotel line up , we called hotels in the area to confirm. NONE of the other hotels bothered to check and were unconcerned of our need. Barbie, at this hotel, was unsure, but she made sure while I was on the phone that the channel was indeed in their lineup. When we arrived, Barbie checked us in and remember me from our phone conversation. It is very nice to be remembered. When we arrived at our room, we had trouble locating the channel. I called Barbie, and once again, she came through. We spent a very relaxing evening watching our favorite race because of Barbie. This experience was what all should be, caring customer SERVICE. Thanks Barbie!

This was my first time to stay at the Holiday Inn in Temple, Tx, and I must say that I was impressed. The landscaping and grounds are very well kept. As I entered the front lobby, I noticed how crisp and clean everything looked. I was very happy with the staff and their ability to answer all my questions in a friendly and professional manner. My room was quiet, comfortable and very clean as well. I look forward to staying at this hotel again in the future! Thanks to all the staff at this Holiday Inn for making my stay great! This is why I always stay with IHG!

Breakfast was awful-waffles tasted like frozen waffles and

The breakfast too pricey for the quality of food and service
Also the service in restaurant was very slow and food was

Was not impressed with my stay at this location. The room was nice, but there was blood that had not been cleaned in the bathtub, and it was extremely noisy from the Interstate and nearby train. Still amazed at the difference in recognition for Priority Club members at Holiday Inn, versus Holiday Inn Express.

I have stayed their at least 7 times. everytime I go back I can't believe I did it again. The price is more expensive than Waco and Round Rock and the staff is rude. You can't even get a cup of coffee in the lobby without sitting down in their restaurant and paying for it. Worst experience of any Holiday Inn in the USA. I haven't given up on Holiday Inn, but will never stay in Temple's Holiday Inn again. don't need the insults, I would rather drive to Round Rock or Waco were the the staff and price is better.

They REFUSE to reverse a $153.00 no-show charge even though it's not entirely (if at all) my fault!
I used the HI website to book a room at 2 different hotels on successive nights. What I have since found out is that if you enter the date for the first night to book the first room and then hit the back button to enter the second night's date to book the second room the website books it for the first nights' date even though you went and changed the date on the previous screen. I was suprised to find a no-show charge on my credit card as I thought I had done everything correctly. They will not reverse it even though:
I stayed at the hotel the night I intended to - the night after the no show charge.
I can prove that I stayed at the other HI on the night that they charged me the no-show.
I have stayed at this property several times before.
I am a Priority Gold Club Member.
I have never had a problem with a Holiday Inn before.
I called corporate and they called the hotel to re-consider on my behalf.
It's a shame that they think so little of their loyal customers that they would rather keep the $153 and lose a Priority Club member of 22 years.

I have choices with lodging and I decided on this location for a change. Overall the service was good. I chose to grab a cup of coffee in the lobby on my way out and I was approached by an employee that stated that the price of the coffee was $1.72. This is the price of hospitality with Gold status.
Really . . . a cup of coffee?

The front desk staff and restaurant staff at this hotel were excellent. They were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was way overpriced, however. They would not allow the "state rate" on the night that I was there even though I was there for business with a federal program. The dinner meal was terrible. Breakfast was fairly good although there were not a lot of selections. The rooms were comfortable and the loccation was good. There were NO perks for priority club members.

After checking in, I went to park my car to find it dead.....the front desk clerk and restaurant manager went out of their way to diagnose and replace my battery! I was stunned! I have never experienced this level of service at a hotel in my life...and all done with a smile...I would recommend this property to everyone!

The experience was wonderful. The staff was friendly and helpful. The place was clean and the food was good. My only concern was the price that I saw. It seemed a little high for Dallas, TX. I've paid less for similar hotels in larger cities. I'd stay there again but have to admit the price caught me off guard.
