Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Comfortable bed. Good value We enjoyed our stay at he Holiday Inn in Tewksbury, MA. My one complain was that the pool hours were totally inconvenient. I found it very frustrating that the pool was only open in the evening and that was when we were busy. According to staff this was due to a town ordinance that required the presence of lifeguards. Whatever the reason, I missed having access to the pool. August 13, 2014

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Visiting UMass and stayed here Nice to be greeted as a priority club member - given the choice of a free drink or 500 points upon check in. We stayed in 5 different Holiday Inns over the course of our week of college visits. Some were more effusive in their greetings, giving special parking places, rooms with better views. This one - not so much. But the front desk staff was friendly - in person. We used our points to pay. At least we thought. After leaving our credit card (not the one we gave at check in) was also charged for the room. Yikes! Upon calling, a front desk representative was NOT very friendly in telling me that it was impossible that this could happen. Apparently when it appeared on my bank statement it was a figment of my imagination. Thankfully Holiday Inn/IHG is much more open to taking care of customer needs than this woman is. So that's something to watch out for. It would be nice if this hotel gave free breakfast, AC wasn't the best, pillows were too soft and collapsed under your head, but it was clean and well maintained and that's a huge plus.
