Was able to get rest with no problem. Housekeeper was great. If I needed additional towels, hangers etc. I got it and very quickly with a smile. I definitely would love to come back. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Holiday Inn great but, I'll check what bands are appearing nearby Holiday Inn was great, but in the future I would check what bands are appearing at the concert venue behind it. The Country Western groups fans staying at the Holiday Inn were pretty quiet on 8-15, but on 8-16 the Kiss fans arrived and had rooms on both sides of mine and they were pretty noisy and were arguing in the hall outside my door. Other than that, I would stay there again, but as I say, I would check the concert schedule first and possibly stay somewhere else. . August 29, 2014

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by avoid if you can We stayed at this hotel recently because its location was convenient to other events we were attending in the area. Also, because of the solid reputation of HInn and IHG group. However, this was a very disappointing experience. First, while we had our 'do not disturb' sign on the door to our room, a staff person woke us to "see if we needed anything." Then, we were disturbed at 1:30AM on the next night by a phone call that was asking about our room service order. #We did not order anything from room service.# Then, the 'breakfast included' arrangement is really ridiculous. Breakfast food is included but not drinks, other than water. I've never heard of such a policy. Who has ever heard of breakfast without coffee, tea, milk, and juice? On the first morning, I ordered coffee anyway #$2.95# and it was warm, dark water. Absolutely tasteless. The room itself is just OK--certainly nothing special in any way. And, the price for all of this is high. Find another alternative if you can. August 21, 2014

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by EXPECT THE MINIMUM BECAUSE THAT ALL YOU WILL GET In all of my IHG years this is my first negative review. If you want a nice, comfortable, clean room, no problem. If your looking for a hotel that offers hospitality forget it! This is nothing against the employees, they are all very nice but their hands are tied. It must be tiring to say "no, I'm sorry, but we don't" eight hours a day. They own a shuttle but wont pick you up at the 80th St station which is two miles away. Cabs are not readily available at this stop so be prepared to wait. They will not drop off or pick up out the outdoor concert pavilion, also two miles away. You can get a $15 cab ride there (because they are forced to go the long way and use the cab entrance) but be prepared to walk back because once all the cabs are gone they do not return. If you need a disposable shower cap, be prepared to pay a dollar for it. If you want to swim on the weekend be prepared to wear a bracelet like a 3 y/o child. As a platinum elite member I have ALWAYS been offered either 2 free drinks or the breakfast buffet at properties that d0 not offer a complimentary breakfast. You will get NEITHER at this property. Your welcome bag contains bottled water and sunflower seeds, all of a 50cent investment. This hotel is pathetically cheap and I regret blowing my hard earned points on this stay. August 20, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 Poor response to a problem with billing by management please see my earlier comments, I had to make 4 phone calls to get resolution on an issue in which my personal credit card was charged for my stay rather than my company card. I was promised calls back from management on 4 separate occaisions and when I did get to speak with general mgr pat, i was told there is nothing that she can do for me other than give me a few reward points if I am a member of some rewards club and that I am not paying for my hotel stay, my company is, so why should I receive any sort of credit? I was so appalled by this lack of customer service and basic common courtesy that I thanked her for her time and vow never to stay at a holiday inn again in my life and have shared this poor experience and treatment with every level of upper management at my company, UPS, who will no longer be using holiday inns for business stays. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Only Double Beds but Comfortable We needed to find an hotel/room in the area for just a night in the last minute. We found a good one here. The only oddity that we felt was having only double beds offered for being associated with the Convention Center next door...most of our experience has been two Queen beds per room along with breakfast offered. No complimentary breakfast, specially for the price. We did know that on arrival though and planned accordingly. Paid the price though because of the difficulty finding a nice facility. Very pleased otherwise! The pool was warm and we even had it to ourselves. The hot tub was relaxing as well. August 10, 2014

The breakfast food was expensive (no free BF/coffee), but still typical of what is found in Holiday Inns "free breakfast" across the nation. The area as a meeting place is on a downward slide since the opening of the Rosemont Convention Center. It is difficult to get to the hotel no shuttles (no Shuttle at all) from any area transportation hub, so rent a car. For that matter if you get there with out a rental car your stuck. Nothing is within a 1/4 mile to walk to. There is no real area attractions as well. Best bet, book your next conferance and stay somewhere else. August 9, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Very friendly staff The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Also took full advantage of the free guest passes to the L.A. Fitness just across the parking lot. Sauna was great. Only problem was reporting that the sink wasn't draining properly, and no one ever showed up to fix it. Maybe because it was a weekend and they don't have maintenance staff on call? Shower floor was also very slippery. August 7, 2014
