The actual hotel is decent and in a very good location, I only have minor complaints about the actual hotel. The bathroom door kept getting stuck and we really had to pull hard on it to open it but they put us in another room. Went to the next room and found a towel neatly folded with rest of the clean towels in the bathroom that had someone's makeup foundation on it, very disgusting. My real problem came when I was leaving. I was charged for the room when I previously booked it. Upon check out, I noticed that they charged me again when I checked in. I let the woman at the front desk know and she acknowledged the mistake and asked for my banks fax number so they can take care of it. I called back 30 minutes later to see if she'd taken care of it and she told me that she did and that she'd also call my bank to make sure they got the fax. The next day, I see that the charge was still there so I called the Holiday inn to find out the progress. They tried telling me not to worry because the money hadn't been taken out. I let them know that it was actually taken out and they wanted me to bring in a bank statement to prove it. As I was telling them that on top of the major inconvenience they've already caused, now u want me to prove to you that you messed up, they found the notes about my situation. The girl on the phone tells me that they faxed my bank and it should be cleared up by weeks end. I asked to speak to a manager to see what they were going to about this major inconvenience and all I can get was a voicemail. I left a message and still haven't heard from anyone. On top of all this, I went to my bank and they told me that they never received a fax from the hotel. Now I have to file a dispute through my bank and wait for that process to play out. I really can't explain how upset I am because of this, very poor customer service

My group & I chose this hotel for it's location to the Tinley Park Concert venue; unfortunately, we were disappointed with the cost of the rooms. (We booked four rooms for two nights each.) In addition, the staff were not overly hospitable when we asked if there was any pre-concert activities planned the evening of our arrival & the fact there was no complimentary coffee in the lobby.
We ate breakfast in the restaurant on Saturday morning & was irritated when we realized we would be charged per cup of coffee, tea or soda pop during our meal. The food was ok, nothing to brag about to other people staying in the hotel.
The elevator felt like there was speed bumps when climbing to our floor & our bathroom door stuck every time we closed it in many of our rooms. All of the rooms were very clean--which is the only positive part of the stay.
Chances are we will stay at another hotel rather than be nickeled & dimed for a weekend stay.

Last Saturday, June 28th was sold out. I went to counter to check in and looked for the priority club sign. Noticed it was behind some flowers-so no could see it. I was 2nd in line-Ask if I could check in and the clerk looked me up on the computer and said advised there is a waiting list. So I was placed 10th on the list-she asked for my cell number to contact me when my two rooms were ready. Hour passed and I checked the list and noticed names have been taken under my name. I then asked the clerk if my room is ready-She said yes. Rooms keys were given and Never Platinum came up or a upgrade. I also noticed the Platinum gift bags behind the counter-But nothing was Ever offered. I called later in the night for a roll away bed--They said Yes for a TEN Dollars more. REALLY!
While leaving, I walked the front counter and no thanks for coming or hope you enjoyed your stay
Everything else was fair.
By the way--I received a call from the clerk 90 minutes after I was in my room to say my room was ready.

Your facility is very nice - the only downside is that it is rather expensive. If I wasn't attending a conference connected to the hotel I would have stayed at a nearby less expensive motel (less than 1/2 the cost). I don't use the "extras" like the pool

You have to be extremely proud of your staff from the front desk/check-in to the wait staff in the Bar/Lounge, breakfast area. All of them were gracious and welcoming creating a most enjoyable experience.

Really like the full service restaurant/bar onsite. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. This location is very clean and up to date. It is easily accessible.

Room was clean and seemed fairly new but everything was so outdated. Colors, set-up, etc. Dark in the bathroom and poorly placed mirrors made it diff to check your look before the big meeting. Room service food was very good. For some reason I was given a room with a connecting door. I always HATE that. Prob safe but I always feel like some drunk dude is going to come barging in some night. creepy.
Also, nothing within walking distance. Would only stay here if going to convention center.

When a customer asks for a late check out and is informed about it and still leaves way earlier than that and gets charged for it is quite the funny incident, adding to the below expected quality of stay.. I have had similar or even better experience at places half the price.

I was disappointed. For the price we paid I thought the service was below par, In the early mornings there was no staff around in the lobby. The service in the bar/restaurant was horrible. We were in town for a large event. On Friday night we went to the bar and I ordered a martini, the bartender was up front with me and told me she did not know how to make a martini and she would need to get someone else to make it, that took about 10 minutes, really? A bartender who does not "know how" to make a martini, seriously? On Saturday, there was a time period of several hours between when the day's events ended and the banquet began, so there was a large crowd in the bar, the staff was obviously overwhelmed and could not handle the crowd, for a while it appeared that there was only 1 or 2 bartenders attending to the entire restaurant, and obviously they were not prepared to handle a large crowd, several of the people we were with had to wait quite a long time to order, and it was difficult to get the staff's attention. After a while additional staff members appeared and then the service did improve somewhat, but they all seemed to be out of control and unorganized and several times they were ALL congregated behind the work station trying to figure out who was doing what. I was disappointed that coffee was not offered in the lobby on weekends, I had to go to the bar to get coffee and when I walked in I did not see any staff, so I poured myself a cup of coffee and waited about 5 minutes for someone to appear from behind the work station so I could pay. The bed was very uncomfortable and we struggled with the bottom sheet of the bed pulling off all night. I have stayed at other Holiday Inn's in the past and have never had such an experience as this. I'm not sure if this is a lack of proper management staffing adequately for events such as the one we attended or if the staff simply are not experienced enough to handle an event such as the one we attended.

Check-in over shadowed my entire stay. I have stayed at the Holiday Inn before but have never encountered this kind of problem. Nothing was done to make me comfortable and I actually had to make calls to verify my reservation.

I've traveled overseas and domestically--all over. Honestly, the hospitality of your front desk was by far, the best I've ever rec'd. The 2 ladies, Jennifer and Olivia were so incredibly polite and helpful and sweet. I thought at first that it was a 'show'--but they were honestly so very nice to me and my children. I wish all hotels had their compassion and desire to help.
The hotel itself was very nice. The only drawback was the noise level on our floor. There was an 'after-party' going on after a wedding and the noise did not cease until 3:00 a.m. when security had to finally visit the room where the noise was coming from. He did a great job handling the situation, but we were exhausted in the morning and my daughter had a dance competition to perform in--having to leave at 7:00 a.m. after that night was not helpful to her.
All in all though, I would recommend this hotel bc unruly guests can be found anywhere.

Our group of 45 family members stayed here during a recent wedding weekend and we were delighted by the clean, comfortable rooms and warm staff. We gathered as a large group many mornings and afternoons in the adjoining cafe and received excellent service. The food was reasonably priced and our breakfasts and lunches were satisfying, healthy meals. We appreciated the bar service, too, in the late afternoon before the reception. Many restaurants might have seen our large group as an inconvenience, but the Bananas Grille staff treated us with great kindness. Many in our group also enjoyed the pool. Thank you for our excellent stay!

We were very pleased with the friendly service at the front desk and the beautiful restaurant, Bananas. They had a very unique menu and we were able to sit back and lounge in the bar afterwards and have some really great drinks. The TV was on, but not the highlight of the whole place. I liked that. Our room was clean and nicely decorated. The bed was very comfortable. Can't always say that in the morning. I would definitely go back.

Husband and I had a weekend getaway – all perfect from time we pulled up to hotel! Easy to get to, free parking and staff at the desk friendly. Room good too-comfy bed and good air control-no noisy window unit. A bit concerned when we saw big wedding party but security had it controlled and quiet. Late night dessert/drink in Bananas was fun and breakfast the next day was surprisingly good. Great escape-highly recommend.
