Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great hotel for all ages! I absolutely loved staying at the Holiday Inn in Tinley Park. The front desk staff was great upon check-in (greeted me with a smile that didn't seem fake like you get with most customer service), the restaurant had great food that was very reasonably priced for a hotel restaurant and you can tell they take great pride in keeping the rooms up-to-date and clean. I will definitely stay here again! December 7, 2012

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Lackluster The staff was great and very accommodating. The room however was not suitable for leasing. The latch lock was broken and should have been fixed prior to anyone leasing the room. The lock was clearly broken and the cleaning staff could have reported it to maintenance. One of the phones was broken and I don't blame the hotel for that. The hot water took roughly 5 to 7 minutes before it was suitable for anyone to take a shower. When paying a lot of money to stay in a hotel, you just want the things you use most to work. I do want to mention that the staff was more than friendly but should have insisted that I change my room to one more suitable. To sum it up, I believe I over paid to stay there. November 4, 2012

The front desk staff was polite and friendly and the room was clean and ready for our stay. We stayed in this hotel a year ago from the the time of this years visit and will plan on staying here again for our future visits to the area. Thank you! November 2, 2012

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Don't eat there I am a road warrior and if a hotel has somewhere to eat I will try it. Staff were great but the food was really bad and over priced. I did not ask for a refund nor a manager to seek one. They offered something different but there were so few people in the room that it should have been obvious to me. Certainly not up to normal standards. For a "Green" hotel they certainly are wasteful. I kept my towels hung and everyday I had fresh ones....but no coffee. September 13, 2012
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Don't count on the microwave The room was great. It was clean, plenty of towels. THe only issue I had was with he microwave. When left plugged in it would randomly beep loudly. If you tried plugging it in to use you would assume it was plug and play like most electronics to day but unfortunately this was not the case. Just check your microwave when you first get in. I'm not a very trusting person so I did not want hotel staff in my room while I wasn't there and I was there for a convention so I didn't have time to wait for a maintenance person for fear of missing out on some of the fun had that weekend. I asked when checking out and the staff told me the cleaning staff often unplugged them when going through rooms. The staff also made an honest mistake and charged me for a meal at the restaurant on location. They had to look into it for a few minutes but they had no problem figuring out the mistake. Was just a minor inconvenience especially after being annoyed finding out that the microwave issue is common there. July 22, 2012
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Poor Service The reservation process took over 30 min. so be prepared to be on the telephone for awhile. Check-in was worse. The two people were both having problems navigating through the screens, finding the rooms people had reserved, etc. My husband went the the grocery store, filled the car with gas, and unloaded and parked the vehicle before I made it through the check-in process! The housekeeping service was very good and the ladies were very helpful. The restaurant staff was disorganized and did not have enough waitresses for the customers. We waited for over 30 minutes to be seated. I would advise sending someone down 15 minutes ahead of time to get the table(s) and place the drink orders. Once we were able to order, the food was prepared fairly quickly. Overall, I will not go back to this particular Holiday Inn. July 22, 2012

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Decent Stay Had a reasonably good stay. Hotel was close to the concert we were attending nearby. Room was clean & comfortable. Staff was very friendly. The only problem we encountered was when we came to our floor there was a group in another room with their door cracked open, watching as people came off of the elevator. I didn't think anything of it at first, assuming they were waiting for someone they knew. When we got to our room, the phone rang. My wife answered and the woman on the other end said "this is Kimberly at the front desk. The credit card that you used for room incidentals is not working. Could you please verify your card information with me?" She asked for my wife's name as it reads on the card. She then asked for the number. I told her to hang up the phone and go to the front desk. Sure enough, nobody from the front desk had called, nor was there any employee named Kimberly. I realize that this was by no means the fault of the hotel. I was told that the call was a room to room call but they could not trace which room had dialed our room. I do find that hard to believe since there is always a detailed listing of any calls you make at the time of checkout with most hotels. I wish more could have been done so that these people could have at least been asked to leave the property so that no other guests could have been in danger of giving away such valuable information. The woman that made the call was very convincing. It was an uneasy feeling staying overnight by a group who was just trying to scam you. I know that most people know not to give out their info over the phone but this seemed to be a likely scenario between a hotel and guest. I just wanted people to know about this scam so that they are not a victim in the future. Thanks. July 14, 2012

We had stayed at this hotel previous times and were always satisfied with the quality of the rooms and staff. Everything was great and met our expectations once again.
