I was in town for business...that night, there was a concert (Motley Crue) at the concert venue...but no problems with noise or group problems...Great visit

In all of my IHG years this is my first negative review. If you want a nice, comfortable, clean room, no problem. If your looking for a hotel that offers hospitality forget it! This is nothing against the employees, they are all very nice but their hands are tied. It must be tiring to say "no, I'm sorry, but we don't" eight hours a day. They own a shuttle but wont pick you up at the 80th St station which is two miles away. Cabs are not readily available at this stop so be prepared to wait. They will not drop off or pick up out the outdoor concert pavilion, also two miles away. You can get a $15 cab ride there (because they are forced to go the long way and use the cab entrance) but be prepared to walk back because once all the cabs are gone they do not return. If you need a disposable shower cap, be prepared to pay a dollar for it. If you want to swim on the weekend be prepared to wear a bracelet like a 3 y/o child. As a platinum elite member I have ALWAYS been offered either 2 free drinks or the breakfast buffet at properties that d0 not offer a complimentary breakfast. You will get NEITHER at this property. Your welcome bag contains bottled water and sunflower seeds, all of a 50cent investment. This hotel is pathetically cheap and I regret blowing my hard earned points on this stay.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 Poor response to a problem with billing by management
please see my earlier comments, I had to make 4 phone calls to get resolution on an issue in which my personal credit card was charged for my stay rather than my company card. I was promised calls back from management on 4 separate occaisions and when I did get to speak with general mgr pat, i was told there is nothing that she can do for me other than give me a few reward points if I am a member of some rewards club and that I am not paying for my hotel stay, my company is, so why should I receive any sort of credit? I was so appalled by this lack of customer service and basic common courtesy that I thanked her for her time and vow never to stay at a holiday inn again in my life and have shared this poor experience and treatment with every level of upper management at my company, UPS, who will no longer be using holiday inns for business stays.
