The staff was most impressive in every aspect of our stay. Service was exemplary in the lounge and restaurant especially.
The swimming pool area was most impressive and relaxing.
A most enjoyable stay for our family.

We arrived at 6 a.m. after an exhausting all-night flight. The front desk clerk was able to put us right into a large room with king-size bed and big picture window; the bathroom had a nice soaker tub and the longest vanity I've ever seen -- nice to be able to spread out both of our stuff, and so rare in an airport hotel! We bathed, slept, woke, had wonderful room service burgers for lunch, bathed and slept some more, watched a movie, had a wonderful room service dinner, and emerged the next morning feeling like brand-new people.
I like that you can use your credit card in the vending machines so it's not necessary to have a pocketful of toonies.
I liked the friendly helpfulness of all the staff, particularly the really nice parking lot guy.
Only negative: crazy elevators that went up instead of down, stopped and went down, then back up again; it was a bit nerve-wracking, and we were relieved to finally end up on the correct floor!

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by ball2 Comfortable bed but room was kind of warm.
Requested for adjoining rooms since I have 4 kids with me but didn't get that. The room was warm even if I brought down the thermostat to 17 and room had a temp of 24. Only 2 elevators were working.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Onewindsong Enjoyed the stay
I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The food was very good and it was nice to be able to get a gluten free meal.
The room was very nice and the bed was very comfortable. The only thing that I would have liked was a fan in the bathroom, so that when a shower was taken the mirror would not steam up.
Other from that it was great!

We appreciated the flexibility of the front desk staff for allowing us to extend the 15 minute unload/load time limit. We had some logistical issues and needed extra time. As well, the service in the restaurant was impeccable.

Excellent breakfast. Clean warm outdoor pool ( 9' deep end ) as well as indoor pool. Easy access to all freeways and highways. Nice quiet rooms. We will continue to stay here.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Greggo Nice place to conference, but costly to eat there
I found the Holiday Inn near Pearson International Airport to be a very welcoming and relaxing hotel. Being there for a weekend conference, I found the facilities offered by the Holiday Inn to be very pleasing. While the food at the restaurant was of good quality. However, I did sense a certain isolation from a variety of low-cost dining establishments (I'm not sure if that's a criticism of the hotel's location or it's own menu) All in all, I would recommend this place to friends. Thank you.

Overall, this is a fine property. I stay here frequently, but hadn't been in for the best part of a year. No matter -- the front desk clerk and restaurant hostess both recognized me and welcomed me back very warmly. That's a great start.
The rooms are a bit on the cozy side (building dates from the 1960s) but well laid out. Bathrooms vary in size depending which room you get. Beds are very comfortable. A/C units in some rooms blast all the air up under the curtains -- there should be a shield to divert the air out into the room.
The star attraction is not one, but TWO of the biggest hotel swimming pools in greater Toronto -- one indoors, and one outdoors with a nice big garden sundeck area all around it.
Breakfast buffet is not included in most room rates, but offers a fine big selection for the price including treats like grilled tomatoes and mushrooms, fresh fruit, cheese, and cold cuts that many suburban hotels don't offer. Along with these you get all the standard breakfast items as well. And the coffee is a good rich brew.
Like all hotels on the airport "strip", this one has to charge for parking.
If you keep an eye on this hotel for prices, you may get lucky and be able to get it for under $100, and at that price it's a bargain!
Also helps that it is one of the very closest hotels to the airport, so the every-20-minutes shuttle bus ride to get to or from your flight never takes very long.

usually i enjoy the nigths in the holiday inn, this one not too much,
My Room was in the last corner and didn't like it. I stayed 3 nights last week.
The rooms are a bit old, my washroom had broken counter and the outlet for the dryer and the vanity mirror.
Being part of PC I asked for rooms always closer to the elevators and these time I got one at back of the hallway. That as very noisy with se sound of the stairs an the other door that's is just so close to my room door.
The bed was good and I had a good sleep.
The room service and food was very good.
The buffet in the breakfast was very good.
It was very busy in the mornings to get a cab but service from the front desk made the time of waiting less

If you are looking for a nice place by the airport stay at the Holiday Inn Toronto International Airport Hotel. The King room was clean, fresh and the bed was so comfortable. I brought my own pillow so it was great. lol
The shower head had many selections and the pressure of the water was amazing. Best shower I have had in a hotel.
The restaurant had good food and was quite nice.
I would stay there again. The conference room rate was reasonable.
The front desk staff were very busy so not much time to chat. They were all very nice.

My stay at the Holiday Inn was good. One thing missing was a small fridge. Being there from Friday afternoon until Sunday afternoon, some foods bought during this time would have kept better in a refrigerator.

The woman who checked us in greeted us with NO smile, did NOT look up, offered no customer service whatsoever, and did NOT go out of her way to make us feel welcome at all. Had we not been attending a conference I would have immediately cancelled our reservation, asked for the manager and left the hotel, never to return.
This particular woman has worked at your hotel (Toronto International Airport Holiday Inn) for many years, is well known for her surly attitude, and NOBODY has been successful in replacing her. She obviously cannot be managed, nor is she interested in responding to training in customer service skills. WHY would you have ever kept her in a big city like Toronto where you have the pick of the crop whom you could hire.
As a result of this, we will NEVER return to your property which is a shame.

Most HIE I have stayed at had a fridge and micorwave in the room. This one does not. Even when asked for they are quick to say they have none available but will keep checking. They don't keep checking or if they do, they do a lousy job of keeping you posted.
Other then that, nice indoor and outdoor pool but very average hotel.

What i love about the Holiday Inn at the Toronto International Airport, above all, is the staff. They are so friendly and have come to know me well and therefore, greet me by name.
The restaurant and bar boasts of delicious dishes and again, the staff is just great!!!
The rooms have been updated with new linens and a new flat screen television.
The whole atmosphere of the lobby, facilities and the rooms is both comforting and relaxing.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by lisag24 Staff were terrible and unorganized
I booked a room with 2 beds since there were 4 of us spending 2 nights to attend a convention for the weekend. I went up to my room at about 12 noon and find a room with 1 king bed. I went back downstairs to the front desk to report the mistake but I was told that I was wrong. I showed them my confirmation on my tablet and they still insisted that it was my fault. I was told that there were no rooms available with 2 beds and they admitted that they had overbooked those rooms. I let them know how upset I was and considering that I was there so early, I was shocked that they could not relocate me. I was told that they would bring up a cot to sleep on for the evening and they would look at getting me another room on the Saturday. Well the cot never materialized and I spent the night sleeping in a chair. On Saturday I again went to the front desk to complain and I was told that they were "sorry" and they would either relocate me or send up a cot. Needless to say, this never happened and when I went down to check out they again said sorry and for my 2 nights of sleeping on a chair they refunded me one night back to me. Do not stay at this hotel.... to say they are unorganized and uncaring is an understatement!

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Eor128 Comfortable bed great pool
We had a good stay on the 10th by the elevator and had no problems sleeping. The only two things I could say the need to be improved is that the air conditioner was weak and could not keep the room very cool and water in the shower backed up. Other than that the pool hot tub and sauna were great. The restaurant looked very nice and the staff were friendly.
I did notice though that the holiday inn down the street had a free breakfast which this one does not.
Over all I would stay here again

This hotel is very comfortable, clean and has a friendly / professional staff. However, when you compare it to new Holiday Inns, and even new H I Express, hotels it really is showing its age. The current decore is modern but the physical property does show its age.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by camping4fun excellent location, pricey breakfast
Good place for gathering people from many locations, arriving by car and air. Many restaurants and services nearby. Amazingly, the constant airplanes taking off and landing did not disturb. Clean and comfortable. Breakfast buffet was extensive and good but more than required and pricey. To order individual items was also pricey such that the buffet seemed a better value.....if only one could or wanted to eat that much.

Love the airport view, especially @ night. Comfortable bed & quiet. Servers in lounge & restaurant are top notch. Best swimming pools at any hotel. Problem with Priority Point Rewards. Always have to request through Priority Club, the proper assignment of points per stay. This hotel is highly recommended.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Mimi566 Friendly staff and great rate for park, stay and fly.
The room was spacious and modern. The bedding was lovely and we had a really quiet room which was important as we had an early flight the next morning. My husband liked the heated tile floor in the bathroom. Only thing was there was no continental breakfast and we assumed there would be for a place that promoted park, stay and fly. So we went to the airport hungry.
The staff was very friendly and we got a great rate, so I would return.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Quiet Great but missed the refrigerator!
This was a lovely and comfortable hotel. The only thing missing was the small refrigerator that the website said would be in the room. My GPS went in circles in this airport area, perhaps because of airport radar, so I had trouble finding the hotel.
