Recently stayed for one night. The staff very helpful and always with a smile. The rooms are in good condition and specious. Nice pool on the roof. Will stay again if happens to be in the area. It looks perfectly alright from the outside. Not a newly build hotel but it seems the have done the maximum to make it in one line with other Holiday Inn brand hotels (that's why it is Holiday Inn and not Crowne Plaza or Intercontinental) plus the nice views from upper floors.

The service from the front desk was wonderful, the room lovely, clean and comfortable. Breakfast the following morning was fantastic, everything you could ask for and more. It was delicious and again the service from those on hand was really delightful. Thanks very much would definately return and suggest others stay at the Holiday Inn.

Stay frequently at this property and love it, however this time we were put in a room outside the lift which really is noisy and makes a sleep in impossible. Room decor filthy couch that dirty I just wouldn't sit on it my husband sat on it and was nearly sitting on ground as springs all broken on it. Very disappointed this time. However staff always happy and pleasant. I would still return but definitely not to that room.

What a wonderful experience to have a choice of soft or firm pillows. They were a pleasure to sleep on, without waking up with a headache as is so often the case with the "wrong" pillow.
Also, our thanks to the staff who went out of their way to contact us after we had left the hotel, to advise that an acquaintance, who didn't even know our surname, was trying to make contact with us while we were still in Townsville.
It was really appreciated as our new-found friend took us out sightseeing, and then to a pretty spot for lunch. We had a wonderful few hours together before our flight departed.

Hotel offers all the servies a person would need if they were staying there for business.
