It seems that every HI I've stayed in over the past year has had poor to non-existent wifi. I like HI a lot but this seems to be an on-going problem.

I have stayed in this hotel many times the staff at the front desk have always been the best! Always thanking me for being a member, giving me a choice of rooms extra. And I hv always done the survey after giving them great reviews. This time the girl at the desk was rude, she never acknowledged my membership and never even asked what type of room I wanted..,.when I asked about it she sighed and rolled her eyes and said she would hv to start all over. So we stayed where she had placed us. I know they are under a new management company and that is not the way they have conducted business in the past. They put us on a hall that had giant stains inside and outside the room. There was no welcome sack or offer of points. Hopefully they can in-service her on customer service before we return!
She ruined our whole stay there

Last time we were here we were upgraded to a suite. That was nice. This time not the case. The sheets kept coming off the bed/ There wasn't enough T.P. and the cleaning staff didn't replenish the coffee. Oh well, better luck next time.

Only "complaint" is that no breakfast was included. But no regrets in this choice.

When we arrived, we had to wait for someone to show up at the front desk. There was no bell to ring so we just stood there and waited, as did another guy. Later when we wanted to get some drinks and order some food, we dialed "guest services" and then "front desk" and then "0". No one answered any of the calls. So I went down to the lobby and there was no one around. Not a single person. I actually have video of me walking around the front desk, bar, and restaurant. It looks like everyone just left. On the video, you can hear me say, "Maybe I should make myself a drink." while I was taking video of the back of the bar. Any kid or person off the street could have walked off with anything from the bar without anyone knowing. Anyway, I had to leave and drive around to find food to bring back. I've traveled all over the country and have never seen a front desk, lobby, bar, and restaurant area in a hotel deserted all at the same time, while each place was "open".

I was in desperate need for a room without a reservation and I had a pet. I was greeted in a friendly manner and serviced quickly (I was exhausted from travel and hungover).
The location is just away from all the mall traffic where there are plenty of restaurants and things to do. Close access to highway 169 if you are going to be visiting other areas of the city and a bar you could literally walk to.
The stay was great and I will definitely stay again. Thank you to all of the staff for a great experience!

When I drove up the initial impression was not good. The trash containers were overflowing and the location of the bench assured that cigarette butts were everywhere. The inside was clean and staff were friendly. Room was in good order...the air conditioning was loud and annoying. The hotel was busy and towels were at a premium. The hotel staff acknowledged this and were not supportive of managements response to this issue. The internet was difficult to access and the traffic on it varied. At times the internet was at a crawl and annoying to use.
