Good location, great front desk staff, clean hotel where I can sleep and feel comfortable. I would definitely stay in this hotel again. September 23, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by No Parking, Mixed Messages This is an old hotel that has been remodeled. The room is clean and well kept with the minimum amenities. The bathroom was so small the door would barely open without hitting the toilet, and I wound up taking the tissue paper off of the roll so that I could stop hitting my elbow on the wall and vanity. Pay to park in their underground garage is a joke. The spaces are so small, and the area so dimly lit it is creepy being in there. I have an oversize vehicle and have a handicap placard (back injury and recent hip replacement) and when I called about the parking was told that there are spaces for oversize vehicles for me to park. However when I arrived, I was told that these spaces were all reserved for other guests - though none of the guests were there at the time I was there. I was told that I could park on the street at a meter. When I inquired about other properties in the area, the guy printed a map, handed it to me, and told me that he had cancelled my reservation!! I told him that I had been driving for 9 hours to get there and did not ask for my reservation to be cancelled. He put it back in the computer. Then he told me that if my work hours did not interfere with the hours of the business across the street, that they allow for overflow parking from the hotel in their lot for no charge. I overheard the conversation between another person checking in a guest, who briefly told them of the pool, the work out room, and grill locations... I got nothing!!! When I would go to the desk to ask a question the clerks would be chatting and ignoring me. I stood there several minutes before anyone turned around to acknowledge me. Not a friendly place for me. Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by room was noisy, bathroom was dirty, bar was filthy I would not recommend this hotel. It is old, there was a smell about this place that I could not get past. I had to track down my waitress to pay for my meal, felt the dining staff were busy with other things, customer service is not their speciality. September 19, 2015
