As originally planned, my family and I stayed in this nice hotel after a long trip ; the hotel is quite confortable, and we were warmly welcomed by the staff in the front desk, a very polite young lady called Claudia who was always willing to help with our needs, and was able to make feel the guests at home with a friendly and franc smile. I must say that the overall experience at this hotel was fulfilling because of the effort of the hotel staff to be helpful and courteous nevertheless, I must state that even though the breakfast buffet was very good, as well as the service by the waiters working in the place on the first day, the following day the most awkward thing happened: it was a two-for-the- price-of-one breakfast buffet, and the enjeux was extremely crowded with locals; obviously the waiters were under a lot of pressure by the clientele, all of a sudden, a short gentleman wearing a dark suit practically went past me totally ignoring my presence and showing off total lack of courtesy, as a polite person I immediately protested by saying: " It is polite to say Excuse Me", however he paid no heed to my statement. The experience turned out to be an unpleasant one when I realized that the gentleman in the suit, Manuel, was the manager of the cafeteria and in the end, even though the price of the buffet was reduced on that specific day, we were charged with the full price of the meal. I definitely recommend a correction, and some training on politeness, I find it hard to believe that a management employee treats guests like this. I was very pleased with our stay in your hotel, an earthquake struck the city, and the staff was ready to deal with it, and the structure of the hotel was, practically, flawless after the quake. I would like to thank the staff of the hotel who was kind to us all the time even when they were not working, a young janitor was really kind to go and greet us, when were having a snack downtown, it was not his obligation, and that only proves that: " La courtoisie est la vertu des rois". En mi primer estancia 28-29/dic me asignaron una habitación que el baño tiene invertidos los portapepeles, de tal forma que el rollo no puede permanecer en su lugar. Y se escucha mucho ruido afuera de la habitación. En mi segunda estancia 31/dic-2/ene me asignaron una habitación que estaba ocupada. La llave no abrió la habitación, después volvimos a ir a la recepción y me dieron una llave que abrió la habitación ocupada. Después tuvieron que ir de la recepción con la llave correcta. Me dejaron una carta en la habitación disculpándose (con un mini pastel). Pero creo que el problema es mas grave que una disculpa, es un tema de seguridad y un tema de mala organización. Deben tener mucho cuidado en este tipo de situaciones. January 4, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by La peor experiencia Las condiciones del hotel son deplorables, ninguno de los compromisos hechos en la reservación directamente en el Hotel se cumplieron, nos dijeron que había regaderas y piso, lo cual no fue cierto y la alfombra esta súper sucia, vieja, manchada, los cuartos huelen a cigarro cuando hasta cobran por fumar en el hotel, hay tinas no regaderas. Pedi cambió al Holiday Inn y aún sabiendo que las tarifas son más bajas no hubo ningún reembolso ni cortesía por parte del hotel. Pésima experiencia, la peor en un hotel que se supone es business class January 2, 2016
