Is it the French Quarter, the relaxing "away-from-home" home, or the Uniontown Holiday Inn? You have a room on the second floor next to the pool dome. You step out onto your balcony: French Quarter! Look and talk perhaps with your neighbors on their balconies and the patios beneath! Yes, the French Quarter! You have a room on the first floor next to the pool dome. You step out onto your veranda. Look and talk perhaps with your neighbors on their verandas and the balconies above! Yes, it is the French Quarter! More than just a pool. It is a pool dome and their are games going on about you in the pool dome arena. But you do not want that for you? Alright. Take a room in a hallway away from the pool dome. Long and luxurious hallways of supreme quietude, but your room, well appointed and whose bed is absolutely comfortable, is always near an exterior exit for ease. An excellent restaurant in the hands of a very capable chef who has an enjoyable staff waiting on your every wish. Who would have expected this in Uniontown, PA? I have stayed in several five-star hotels. I was not expecting this in Uniontown, PA. But there it was. Awesome! But I am not a writer of prose or poetry. Therefore, you must experience this hotel for yourself. Then you can find your own words to describe the experience. Quintessential!

Arriving at the Holiday Inn, Uniontown, Pa., after flying, and driving from Pittsburgh, we were exhausted. We arrived to a very courteous and friendly welcome from the staff. Our room was clean and roomy, and comfortable.
We were both pleasantly surprised at the wonderful bed pillows (4 on each bed). There was no tossing and turning to get comfortable, and a peaceful slumber was quickly achieved by both my husband and myself.
Breakfast was another pleasant surprise. There was such a wide array of food, and selections. The staff was helpful and pleasant, and everything we ate was delicious. We even had an omelet made to our liking, and didn't feel rushed through our meal.
The hotel is conveniently located and the parking was ample. We are looking forward to our next stay in a Holiday Inn. Many Thanks to the staff for making our stay so enjoyable.

It has an interior courtyard. Children can play there.

Apparently the online reservation information was not sent to the property. They did not have my requested king-size bed and did not have the correct room rate. All this made for some hassle and a room move on the second night.
Some desk clerks were friendly and helpful while others not so much.

Still trying to wrap my head around this one It would have been better to have stayed somewhere else if had I not been so tired. The bathroom had black mole around tub did not notice until next morning air cond. fan made a loud noise keep waking me up. The vents on this unit in the room where nasty hard to tell about the air I was breathing in the room. I will never stay at this Motel again I don't have anything great to say about this hotel

Poor room lighting, if you are on the 1st floor and don't mind children playing and being loud as they enjoy themselves you will be okay as long as the curtains are closed.

This is a very good hotel for families looking for value and stuff to do for the kids. The indoor pool is huge! Surrounding the pool is an arcade, a small indoor park structure, ping pong table and a pool table. The kids were thrilled to have so many options. The rooms were very clean and the staff was super friendly. We hit the restaurant for breakfast only, but it was very good. I would definately stay at this property again.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 Disappointing for a holiday inn
Hotel is badly In need of improvements. Sand area around pool is a mess. Our room opened onto pool area so with no outside window room was gloomy. Pictures on website do not show true condition of hotel.
