Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by David737 Clean rooms and very friendly staff
I would recommend this Holiday Inn many times over, the rooms were kept clean at all times and the staff was extremely friendly. I have stayed at some of the other hotels in the area and prefer to stay here due to the fact that their are various restaurants within walking distance as well as a large shopping center. If I go back and work in Uniontown in the coming weeks I will be staying here for sure.

I reserved a poolside room. I got a parking lot side room on the first floor. Heard horns blowing all night from people locking their cars. The internet was so slow it was not usable. I had to go to the front desk and ask for a receipt as there was none placed under the door as I was told would happen.

I am a Platinum member who frequently travels to the Uniontown area. I was definitely disappointed with the condition of this hotel. White the room was clean enough, it was dark and dingy and the furniture worn. The facility sorely needs to be updated.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Sassy326 Exceptional room and AMAZING Service!
I stayed at this hotel for a conference, and I will never stay elsewhere when in the area! Every employee I passed greeted me, and the front desk staff could not be more friendly! The food was excellent and my room was beyond my expectation of clean. If you're in Uniontown or anywhere near, I recommend staying here!

I have eaten breakfast in the restaurant about four times now. Three of these times the service was a bit slower than average. Once I considered walking out because it took a full hour to cook 2 eggs hash browns and a ham steak which was served cold and the toast came out after I was finished everything which was also cold with partially melted butter on top. Every time I have been the food was either overcooked, undercooked, over seasoned or all three. Bob Evans is walking distance and cheaper with at least some sort of quality standard, needless to say I will be going there regardless of the free breakfast card included with the priority club At least I wont be late for meetings!

This hotel staff is the Best I have encountered. They live up to what you would expect from a Holiday Inn and more. The rooms were clean and very quiet.

We stayed at the hotel for a weekend getaway. While some areas of the hotel do need to be spruced up a bit, the room was clean, food was good and everyone on the staff was wonderful to deal with. The indoor pool and play area was really nice for our 6 year old. We never even left the hotel our entire stay! We had a great time and will definately visit again!

Place was nice. Wish I had know it was a little over crowded before I booked----kids were running in the hall all night.
Place really needs new beds and to be updated

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by B925 Hotel Will NOT support Their Own Promotions!!
I am a platinum member and used a reward night for my stay. Upon check-in, you are given a card good for a free drink, appetizer or an additional 750 points. I got to my dirty room, was not happy with the unpleasant odor and could NOT access the internet! The front desk told me to call Iban customer service that did nothing to resolve the problem - they said it was the hotels fault for not upgrading their service.
The front desk offered to move my room to another part of the building that had better internet service. I had to change rooms 3 times!!!! As the result of the hassle, the front desk gave me two extra coupon cards for a total of 2250 points (750 pnts per card). Upon check-out, I returned the cards and was told the points would appear in a few weeks. I NEVER received any of the points and called the hotel numerous times with NO results!
BEWARE - this is what service to expect if you are a platinum member!

We had a great time at the Holiday Inn in Uniontown. Everyone on the staff was very helpful and they made everything from check-in to check-out very easy. Our grandchildren really enjoyed the pool and the playground--especially after spending nine hours in a car. We were all able to relax and enjoy the facilities and each other without crowding into a room or a lobby. The food was good and the rooms were very quiet and clean. We would definitely stay here again--and we would recommend this hotel to anyone with children.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 "This is the best hotel EVER Mom!"
Our 3 little boys LOVED it! They loved the pool and the playset. Their ages are 6, 5, and 4. This was the first time we stayed in a hotel and they all slept like babies. They had no problems going to sleep and we actually got to sleep in. We were visiting family in the area and the boys kept asking to go back to the hotel to play rather than spending time with their relatives. We will definitely stay here again the next time we come back.

This is probably one of the best Hotels I have ever stayed at.
Extremely comfortable beds, fantastic friendly staff, totally relaxing. The large pool area also has a pool table, ping pong table, air hockey table, sitting area to relax and an indoor playground for the youngsters..
Carpeted halls probably could have been vacuumed but the rest of the floors were washed daily. The room was very clean.
The (electronic) game room isn't as good as it used to be.
Washer and dryer available at a reasonable price.
Nice room with computers available for use.
We go there every year and will continue to do so.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by SurprisedTraveler Not up to expectations
While there were parts of the hotel that seem to be well-kept, the walls, hallways and stairwells were dirty or stained. I arrived late at night and found there was only a room available upstairs and there was no elevator - so had to drag several pieces of luggage up (and then down) the stairs. The beds actually had sag-marks in the mattresses. The breakfast buffet was good. Not what I expect from a recognized "chain" hotel. It just had a very 1965 "feel" to the accommodations.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Sonnie Poor front desk service
Check in service was horrible. I guess the receptionist was asleep in the back when I needed to check in. I kept saying "hello", no one came out. An off work employee had to get him from the back. Then I was booked into a smoking room, non-smoking preference is what is in my profile. So I had to change rooms. All of this is at 1am and I had work at 6am the next morning. I have no time to wait 10 min to check in just to be sent to an in desirable room.

This is one of my favorite Hotels for a weekend retreat. Only had a slight problem when my room was not ready when I checked in. However the front desk person did everything to make it right. The room was fine and all the amenities were great. Shopping and sightseeing is nearby. Great value any time of the year.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by BGS53 Good room - but TV placement is ackward
This was a nice room - good features like a sofa, frig, single serve coofee maker....but the TV was on a dresser directly in front of the bed, and the sofa was on the other side of the room - very hard to see the TV. And if one person wants to sleep while the other wants to watch TV, the sleeper is out of luck. What made this set up worse is that the cabinet for the frig/microwave was right next to the dresser and blocked the TV even when the TV was rotated toward the sofa.. I don't know how others feel, but the reason I pay extra for a sofa in the room is so I can watch TV more comfortably.
