Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 50th Class Reunion - Redstone Township class of 1963 This Holiday Inn was very helpful in setting up a Friday evening get-together before our actual reunion on Saturday night at another venue. They also set us up, as a group, near the buffet on Sunday morning, so we could talk and say our goodbyes until next time. Room was comfortable, although the air conditioner didn't get as cold as I like. Will stay again, when the next reunion rolls around. October 2, 2013
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Cleaning service Had a room with 2 beds, Which we used, the maid service made only 1 of the beds, took all the used towels and did not replace them, did not remove dirty glasses on night stand.....these were all noticeable things that were missed....also had trouble with the air condition in the room, we needed to keep our door open to get cool air from the hall way. After complaining at the front desk, the problems were corrected....but not the air condition The pool area was very nice and relaxing October 2, 2013

I spoke with a lady at the front desk and she immediately sent a technical person, Bob to my room. He was courteous and solved my problem straight away. I am very impressed with him, not only on his expertise, manner and his dedication to his work. You have a wonderful employee there. October 1, 2013

Restaurant, exercise room and an indoor pool. All very nice. Also located near many stores, places of interest and other chain restaurants. Will stay there again, September 25, 2013

My hotel room was comfortable and I could adjust the air conditioer/heat as necessary. The lobby coffee and cookie were good. Parking lot was spacious and safe for leaving my car. Excellent proximity to several places to eat (Olive Garden and Red Lobster) and get gas. Excellent access to Routes 119 and 40 I used the microwave in the room- it was so convenient to avoid having to travel to the dining room to warm some food I was unable to use the computer on the left side of the Business center. I had both a spider and stink bug in my bathroom on my departure day. September 19, 2013

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Forget some clothes? Say goodbye to them.Caution:No elevator Forgot clothes in dresser when we checked out - $200 - $300 worth. Called the next morning & talked with housekeeping who said that no clothing located. Staff who had cleaned our room was off so left my name and phone # so that they could call us next day when the person was back at work. No one ever called back. Sent email to website's email "Attention Manager" - never received a response. Please watch for someone wearing Red shirt that says "EOD Mom" that I got at my son's army EOD graduation. Breaks my heart that it was stolen. No elevators: What a shock to check-in to a hotel without an elevator! Overall, the staff was very helpful and kind during our stay but the lack of follow-up regarding my missing clothing left a lasting impression. September 8, 2013
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by nice and clean but noisy I spend two nights in this locatoin earlier this week, the hotel is nice, clean, a little outdated but well kept. however the AC was very noisy, and either you choose to be cool or hear the roar of the ac fan... both days, while we were still in the room with a "do not disturb' in the door knob, the staff keep knocing and asking us if we were leaving soon.. first day the room was not clenaed. second day, twice we were ask if we were checking out soon.. #by 10 am, not 1pm#... Kind of rude when you are relaxing and have a 'do not disturb' sign in the door. I guess, since the hotel has a lot of "oil fracking companies guests", and they leave early on the day, they expect every guest to do the same thing. I assume that's the reazon the rooms are so expensive for this location/hotel. September 7, 2013
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Reservation Center failure My overall stay was marred by the lack of customer service of the reservation center. I was under the impression that I had a prepaid reservation, However my payment was posted to a later date. Needless to say, when I approached the front desk I was greeted by a very nasty clerk who was unwilling to try and help me. I got rather demanding of a manager and was told the situation would be checked out and I was given my room key. Unknown to me for a short while they placed a hold on my debit card without my permission. When I realized they did that I became extremely angry and insisted t he hold be remove and the management agreed. After a few day I was informed of the real situation. All of my discomfort and embarrassment should have not happened. A simple email or phone call or letter showing where the payment was applied would have eliminated all of the stress of the situation. I will say your restaurant was wonderful. You have an employee named Sharon who was extremely friendly and helpful. The service impeccable Many thanks to her she made me smile. . September 6, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very comfortable experience I found my stay at the Holiday Inn in Uniontown much better than anticipated. Room was spacious ,well furnished, and was close to an exit with nearby parking. The room location was exceptionally quiet. Check-in and out was handled very competently and professional and the staff was friendly and seemed eager to serve. I am planning to stay at the Holiday Inn on my next trip to Uniontown for my next high school class reunion in two years. I did not dine at the Holiday Inn so can not comment on food and beverage so would have to guess it may be Excellent. I did not avail myself of any of the many amenities because to time constraints. Only minor negative comment was the air conditioner could not cool the room to my desired temperature. September 5, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Very enjoyable reunion stay My wife and I stayed two nights while attending my 50th high school reunion, which was also held at this hotel. Facilities were excellent for both the stay and the reunion. Did not use the restaurant untill the last morning for the buffet b'fast. IHG Club awards allow us to eat for free! Most excellent breakfast. The lounge allowed us to mingle with class members after thef ormal evening festivities were over - and the martinis were great! September 4, 2013

I have to admit, it was not up to the standard that I have come to expect from Holiday Inn in general. Particularly for the room rate. Not very competitive.The staff was friendly and helpful. My mother was born in Uniontown and we visited my grandmother every year. After she and the rest of my mom's family passed, we missed "going home". Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Ready to go back! My teenage sons and I picked this hotel at random and we were thrilled when we arrived. The staff was friendly and helpful, the property was well-kept and we loved the indoor courtyard. In between sightseeing activities we actually enjoyed each others company while playing pool, Ping-Pong and using the hot-tub (if anyone has teenagers you will know that doesn't always happen). The only event that marred our stay was another guest stole the 8 ball from the pool table. Why are people stupid when it isn't necessary? WE enjoyed the food at the on-site restaurant and my children thought it was funny when the waitress carded me for the glass of wine I requested. The hotel was a short drive away from many activities and places we hoped to visit. August 25, 2013

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Perfect for families I have stayed at this Holiday Inn when visiting my family. The layout is perfect with my Grandchilldren because of the pool and game area. I was disappointed this time in the cleanliness. We had 3 rooms for 6 nights. The house keeper delivered towels but there was no cleaning during our stay. Also the common areas were not vacuumed until the day we left. I did not see these issues on my previous stays. August 15, 2013

The bed was comfortable and felt great after a long day on the road. The Inn was our home away from home for a week. The staff made us feel welcome. We look forward to our next visit. August 13, 2013

Rooms need a bit of remodeling but I am sure that is on its way. However, the rooms are very comfortable and clean. I enjoye staying here and would recommend it to anyone. August 13, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great staff, lousy room temp If you stay in the rooms by the pool, expect minimal temp control. The thermostat doesn't do anything (during the summer). There is a separate fan control for the A/C: Off, Low, Med, High. When we arrived, our room was freezing. We turned off the fan control and the staff gave us the heater from the front desk which we used for a while and they brought two extra blankets straight out of the dryer. It wasn't until 36 hours later that we needed to turn the A/C fan on again. The staff was great. They were helpful and concerned, but there was nothing else they could do. I left a message for the property manager. He never called back. I would stay there again, but not near the pool. August 12, 2013

The A/C in our room was not working very well, did keep the room livable, could have been cooler in the room. Had a Pizza included in our price, we ordered it. The first pizza we got was not ours, and when the did bring ours, it was cold. However, we had a microwave. Overall, a nice place to stay. July 31, 2013
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Bed was comfortable/service was acceptable The TV could not be used without the remote device, and the device was not working in our room; however, when service was contacted someone arrived to replace it in a short period of time. My husband had to kill several gnats the first 20 minutes we spent in the room. I know small bugs can follow you through the door. Unfortunately, I have a phobia about bugs so I was unable to sleep for most of the night wondering what else might be in the room. I warned the front desk about my bug issues prior to our arrival and therefore was surprised they put us in a ground floor room when a room on a higher level might have stood a better chance of not having a problem. The furniture was old and shabby in appearance, but the bed was comfortable. The bathroom appeared to be fairly clean but the grout needed attention. There was no make-up mirror in the room. Every other hotel or motel we've ever stayed at has provided magnified make-up mirrors. Although the employees were friendly and helpful, we do not feel this room was worth the amount we had to pay for the privilege of staying there. There was absolutely nothing appealing about the room. We were not impressed and will not stay there again, nor would we recommend it to anyone else. July 31, 2013

The staff was wonderful and attentive, the grounds were well appointed with amenities, the restaurant was quick and the food was very good. The property is in need of an update, as for the wallpaper and stairwells, but this was a minor setback as to our enjoyment of the hotel. July 29, 2013
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Unbearable cold pool & cold hot tub Kids could not even stay in the pool 5 minutes since it was so cold. Whirl pool was crowded with kids since it was the temp of what the pool should have been. We booked hotel for the pool and hot tub and told management about issue with pool but a guy came out with an old thermometer which was not even calibrated correctly. Would not recommend if you are booking for pool. July 27, 2013
