Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Had a great experience staying at this hotel We stayed for 3 nights during the Christmas market festivities in Munich. We were upgraded to a very nice room as a priority club member, which was a very nice surprise. The staff was extremely helpful and gave us all the information for making the best of our stay in Munich. The hotel is about 20 minutes away from the city center or Marienplatz but there is a direct train from this location. The train station is a short 5 minute walk. We purchased the 3 day travel pass for 4 of us for about 22 euros, which was a great deal as we could travel on all the city trains, trams and underground service for the duration of our stay. Another great plus was free self service laundry machines in the basement, which was very handy as we had been traveling around Germany for a week before reaching Munich. I would certainly recommend this hotel. January 3, 2013

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Hotel in Renovierung, wird wohl gut werden. Das Hotel liegt in einem Gewerbegebiet, nahe der Autobahn. Öffentliche Verkehrsmittel verkehren nur wochentags (Bus) oder erfordern längere Fußwege (S-Bahn). Während meines Aufenthalts war eine etage wegen Renovierung geschlossen, mein Zimmer bereits auf neuen Stand gebracht. Leider war dieses bei Ankunft (um 15 Uhr) noch nicht fertig, so dass ich an der Bar warten musste/durfte. Einen Getränke-Gutschein o.ä. gabe es nicht, ich sollte nur ein paar Minuten warten. Leider hat mich niemand mehr verständigt, so dass ich nach 45 min selbst an der Rezeption nachfragen musste. Dort begann man dann erneut mit dem Housekeeping zu telefonieren. Das habe ich schon besser erlebt! Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist o.k. December 8, 2012

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Hotel The hotel is situated in a quiet location yet only a short walk from a shopping area and S Bahn station for a 20 minute journey into Munich Central Station. The room was very comfortable offering tea and coffee making facilities. Breakfast was very enjoyable setting you up for a day seeing the sights of Munich such as Marianplatz, Olympic Park and the English Garden. From the 4th floor you can get a lovely view over to the nearby Alps (easilly accessible by train from Munich HBF) Although not in the centre of Munich I would thoroughly reccomend the hotel to anyone visiting the city and would stay at it again if visiting the area. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Cleanliness Overall the room was clean, while one chair had a lot of stains. Housekeeping wasn't able to change the chair at once while did so next morning. A general problem are the toilet seats. Due to the design and shape, the seats apparently are hard to clean. This said, the hotel is a nice and recommendable place to stay, while there are a few improvement opportunities regarding cleanliness. October 17, 2012
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by My go-to place outside Munich Room was clean, comfortable and quiet. Garage parking is paid but the free surface lot is not too far away. Decent selection of grocery stores and bakeries nearby. S-Bahn station is a reasonable walk away and is within the inner zone of the Munich system. The sun deck is nice when the weather is good. There are fancier places and places closer to the center, but this is where I like to go when I go to Munich. October 16, 2012

Restaurant serves very good food and was still willing to serve us even though it is near their closing hours. Breakfast was wide spread and taste good. October 6, 2012
