I booked a room at the Holiday Inn from my smartphone and spent the night, where it was quiet, with a shopping mall adjacent to the hotel to shop. The staff checked me in quickly, and I had a good night sleep. October 15, 2014

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Don't stay on the 4th floor unless you rent one of the condos. We were assigned a room on the 4th floor and which we thought was the top floor of the hotel. Turned out a 2 story condo was adjoining our room and the noise transmission exceeded what we consider Holiday Inn standards. We complained and should have been moved. The front desk claims remedial construction is planned but they had no solution for the adjoining stairs. Do not rent a single room on the 4th floor unless you are guaranteed they will not put someone next door in one of the 2 story condos. These stick construction condos on the top of the hotel are incompatible with Holiday Inn standards. Even if they improve the floor/'ceilings the noise of the adjoining stairs will remind you of a stay in a cheap ski lodge in Siberia. October 8, 2014

Great restaurants in the building, clean rooms, great views of Vail, nice pool/hot tub, free shutle service to town and affordable. I would recommend this location. October 7, 2014

We come to Vail about once a year, but usually go to Aspen or Glenwood springs for the night as that is where our business takes us. This year we had a wedding to attend and extended our stay one more night. The ease of the transactions and dealings with the hotel staff for booking and extending our stay was effortless. We felt very welcome. The staff greeted us whenever we went out and returned and conversed with us about our day and plans. They were always willing to offer suggestions or options to our queries. I would definitely suggest the Holiday Inn to anyone considering traveling. September 25, 2014
