Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Met our expectations! Holiday Inn Vail was everything we needed for our 5 night stay. The room was clean, the pool/spa was great, the workout room was useful, and the shuttle was a wonderful way to shop. Local stores were very convenient to get those few items needed. We ate at the restaurants in the hotel and the food/service was good. Staff was always friendly and helpful. I think our heat did not work properly, it seemed to never cut off and made the room very hot. We just left the control on fan and it seemed to do OK. You get a small frig and coffee pot in the room, but a possible suggestion would be to have a microwave to heat up leftovers. March 4, 2015

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Economic Hotel We were looking for a less expensive stay in Vail and we found this hotel great value for the money. This is an average 3 star hotel but in Vail. The hotel itself is clean but a bit dated. The pool (outdoor heated) and steam room were excellent. The Hot tub was nice but a little cooler that you would expected a hot tub to be. My wife like the Nozawa Sushi restaurant in the Hotel. The shuttle to the hill is good so you can leave you car. However there is only Valet parking at the hotel so you still have a parking charge. This was by far one of the best values I found for a short stay in Vail. We had prepaid through a third party the hotel did not accommodate that fact we could not get there due to I70 road closure for the first night. However the third party agent was accommodating. Onsite Cafe - incredible menu, interesting food, great service. Location - excellent. Pool, hot tub, wet sauna - just awesome after a day on the slopes. The rooms are the downside. Really small, poorly lit with those horrible CFL bulbs, small TV, stark, and beds that my wife and I both found to be very uncomfortable. Room temperature was also difficult to moderate, we either roasted or were too cold - thermostat did not seem to hold a constant temperature. February 26, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Expensive points beware of the price of the mandatory valet parking We have never had enforced and expensive valet parking - although the staff running it were extremely efficient and kind. The reception desk made us feel quite degraded about our IHG points status. AND when we asked about the enforced valet parking charges was rather off hand. Told we should have read the booking information more carefully. February 26, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very comfortable stay We stayed at this Inn for four days in the middle of the week. We did ski every day and appreciated the hotel van rides to the slopes. The hotel is within walking distance to a grocery, and that is an added bonus. The staff were great! February 25, 2015

The staff is always ready to help you with anything, the room is good, bathroom is clean and the shuttle to Vail works perfectly! February 24, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good though with minor inconveniences Generally good - room, service, etc. as well as ski storage, convenience of in-house ski hire. The breakfast service is too slow for skiers who want to get going - there should be a buffet as well as table service. Valet parking at $25 is compulsory. February 21, 2015
