Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by DNRDNI Great staff, location, hot tub, sauna, pool, Rooms average at best
Staff - awesome. Super friendly, helpful, just fabulous. Onsite Cafe - incredible menu, interesting food, great service. Location - excellent. Pool, hot tub, wet sauna - just awesome after a day on the slopes. The rooms are the downside. Really small, poorly lit with those horrible CFL bulbs, small TV, stark, and beds that my wife and I both found to be very uncomfortable. Room temperature was also difficult to moderate, we either roasted or were too cold - thermostat did not seem to hold a constant temperature.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Grumpy as well Expensive points beware of the price of the mandatory valet parking
We have never had enforced and expensive valet parking - although the staff running it were extremely efficient and kind.
The reception desk made us feel quite degraded about our IHG points status. AND when we asked about the enforced valet parking charges was rather off hand. Told we should have read the booking information more carefully.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by d.c.52 Very comfortable stay
We stayed at this Inn for four days in the middle of the week. We did ski every day and appreciated the hotel van rides to the slopes. The hotel is within walking distance to a grocery, and that is an added bonus. The staff were great!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Rodrigofss Amazing Valentine's Day
I went with my wife to Vail on the last Valentine's Day. The service in the Holiday Inn as usual, was great! The staff is always ready to help you with anything, the room is good, bathroom is clean and the shuttle to Vail works perfectly!

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by NZ skier Good though with minor inconveniences
Generally good - room, service, etc. as well as ski storage, convenience of in-house ski hire.
The breakfast service is too slow for skiers who want to get going - there should be a buffet as well as table service.
Valet parking at $25 is compulsory.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by glee12345 Good location
The location is prime in that it is down the street from Vail resort. It is also surrounded by various restaurants with a Safeway nearby. The bed, however, needs to be addressed. My wife and I were both turing the entire night because the bed was very uncomfortable.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Jambler14 Two-level Room provides plenty of room and hotel has good amenities
I booked the Holiday Inn Vail as an affordable alternative to staying right in Vail Village for myself and 2 others as part of a ski vacation. The hotel is conveniently located 1 mile from the Vail Village exit with a complimentary shuttle to Vail which runs 12 hours a day. There is a Safeway and other retail stores right next door. The hotel has many amenities including hot tub, heater pool, 2 restaurants, and a fireplace lobby. I booked a 2-Queen bed room and due to my membership in IHG, I was upgraded to the 2 level room which still has the 2-Queen beds and 1 full bath on the upper level with a large kitchenette, half bath, and sleeper sofa on the lower level. The customer service was excellent and the staff were friendly. Only valet parking was available for a nightly charge but service was good. I would definitely recommend this hotel and will plan to stay there again if I come to vail for another ski trip.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by arnold73 Best value and experience in Vail Valley!
This is hands down the best experience there is staying at a Holiday Inn, anywhere!!! You get a feel for all the luxury of Vail, the incredible ski experience, and dining and service that is second to none. The new feature with the parking and ski valet makes the experience delightful from the minute you arrive. The front desk staff bubbles with enthusiasm starting with check-in and throughout the stay. The Westside Café is by far the best breakfast dining experience in the Vail Valley – there’s a good reason it’s filled with locals every morning. Nozawa sushi is charmingly creative and the fish is always so fresh it’s hard to believe you’re at a mountain resort. The oversized hot tub is heated to perfection and the heated outdoor pool adds a dimension of relaxing in an alpine setting that is unparalleled. The shuttle service to the ski slopes and Vail Village is timelier than trains in Japan and always provides a friendly interaction with the driver and other guests. I love Vail and I love this place. I’ll keep coming back.
