It's off the beaten path; the property is very nice and in a good location, with a sizeable grocery store nearby, as well as a few good restaurants, a liquor store and other convenient amenities as well. Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Billed twice for 1 room I booked the room with 1 credit card, and upon check out paid with a different card. At checkout I specifically said "Make sure only this card is charged and not the one I used to reserve the room". I was assured that there would be no problem.. When I checked my credit cards, BOTH cards have been billed for the full amount of the stay! Different amounts - I don't know how that was managed. I have been calling for 4 days to get this straightened out and am being given the runaround. Front desk told me I had 3 reservations! No I didn't, and have only one confirmation #, Not a good idea to blame the customer for staff's mistakes. Also told that the problem was because I had made the reservation on line. I was told I had to wait until monday to talk to "the accountant". On Monday when I called I was transferred to "the accountant" whose voice mailbox is full. Spoke to the "General Manager" who promised to get back to me today and have heard back nothing. May 9, 2016

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Do Not Recommend This hotel was far from the center of town - at least a two-mile walk - and cost me $15 (out of season, so discounted) for someone else to park my car only feet from the main entrance. The hot tub and steam room were not working and no one knew why, but were surrounded by caution tape and a homemade sign. The "cable" channels were not working, so I ended up having a choice of ESPN or Fox News for the entire time. There was a nice stain on the couch resembling something that you would normally find at a pay-by-the-hour hotel. All in all, not even close to worth it. So disappointed. May 4, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Comfort during the storm We were traveling to Denver from California and it was not our intention to stay in Vail, but once we got there, the pass was closed due to a snow storm and multi car accident. We did a quick search on the web for a room and found openings at the Holiday Inn and made the reservation immediately. Once we arrived there was a long line in the lobby from people having the same idea. The staff handled everyone with care and respect. We ended up with a beautiful room in the connected resort. Full kitchen and loft bedroom at a very reasonable price. The room was clean, had a nice fire place and we slept very well. The staff kept us informed of road conditions which allowed us to proceed the following day to our final destination. April 29, 2016

Barrett checked us in and could not have been more helpful. nice hotel and the shuttle was a nice bonus, I did drive for the two days I was there April 16, 2016
