Open and natural light space for lobby and eating area makes for a pleasant stay. Comfortable rooms and mine had a very nice view with a ground garden full of flowering magnolia trees. March 25, 2015

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Promotion not honored We booked our stay at this hotel through the BeVancouver promotion. Using the promotion, you get back American Express gift cards that, according to the promotion, you can then use toward your room rate. When we tried to use the cards toward our room, the staff would not allow it. Our group that was up in Vancouver for the weekend stayed in three different BeVancouver promotion hotels. This hotel is the only one that denied guests the right to use the cards to pay for their room. On another note, we called to see if we could check in a little early so that we could get settled before an afternoon concert. The person who answered simply said, "When you get here, if there is a room, you can check in." I asked if there was any way he could check and was told no. I waited about half an hour and called back. This time the person that answered asked for the name on the reservation and verified that our room was indeed ready and we could check in early. So it is a matter of who answers as to whether or not you receive good customer service. There were a couple of other things that happened that would keep us from staying there again, not because of the property itself as it is very nice, but due to the lack of consistent good customer service.
