Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Value in Downtown Vancouver I really enjoyed my time here. The tradeshow I worked had long days and sliding into the hotel pool was so refreshing. The room was dark to sleep in and very quiet. Didn't get the chance to enjoy the dining options but I can only expect they would have been just as great as the hotel stay. November 24, 2015

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Back To Back Holiday Inn Experiences After staying three nights in Holiday Inn Express Tacoma WA, and then three nights Vancouver Holiday Inn Hotel and Suites, during a week in November, we have concluded that not all Holiday Inn experiences are the same. The HI in Washington was of better value for similar cost. We had free parking, and breakfast included. Our hotel room was spacious and updated, and fully functional. Vancouver provided adequate accommodations, which were non committal, and at times dated. Heating and plumbing were not too great, and the amenities were fair. The shining star of the Vancouver HI is the great staff. The wonderful person whom checked us in was fully equipped to handle our disappointment when we had unexpected extra charges explained. When the room was cold, engineering brought a heater. When we need a quick breakfast option so we could get to work bright and early, we got a microwave, and dinnerware. ontop of entrusting us with wire clippers, when needed...etc. The staff lived up to all expectations that a good value hotel should have. The hotel its self is dated and might be better off as described as a lower class of accommodation. November 21, 2015
