Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by great location! Room was clean and comfortable. Elevators a little small but all and all this is a great location. Walking distance to Robson street and all the stores. Got 7/11, shopper's drug mart, tim hortons and great little eating spots right around the corner. Breakfast buffet had a lot of variety and worth the price. Their dining room staff was also very friendly. Small error on bill for parking but they corrected it immediately and sent me a copy of the corrected bill by email instantly. Great service! Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Comfortable but noisy bar I really enjoy my stay at this hotel most of the time, as this was my third time. However on this stay I was given a far room with no warning that a party was happening just below at nearby ballroom/ or bar and the music was thumping til 3am. Needless to say I did not get any sleep and was not a very productive day for business meetings next day. All I expected was a heads up and asked if that would be an issue. October 20, 2014

My only complaint was the noise from the adjacent "night-club", which kept the party rolling a little later than I would have expected for a Thursday night, so I ended up leaving my TV on all night to water down the top-40 beats (I really would have preferred to just join the fun and have another round, but work duties called...). All things considered, my time at this hotel in Vancouver was just great and the room, lobby, and parking were all great and conveniently located in downtown. October 20, 2014

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Disappointed We booked our room to stay downtown for our anniversary. First of all, our room was very awkward to get to. We had to take an elevator to the 2nd floor, walk down a long hallway and then take another elevator back down to the 1st floor to get to our room. While our room (112) was ok, I found the cleanliness to be not up to par. The carpet was dirty (hadn't been vacuumed), the lamp shade had something smeared on it and the patio door was covered in finger/hand prints. There was some sort of access panel in the ceiling of the bathroom that was rusted and leaking onto the edge of the tub. There was also a sheet of paper from the previous guest on the desk that had all of their personal information on it. The mini fridge in our room was warm and we couldn't find a way to adjust the temperature so our leftovers we brought back from the restaurant were wasted as we could put them in a fridge. Overall, we did not enjoy our experience and will likely choose a different hotel when we visit downtown Vancouver again, which is quite regularly. October 7, 2014

Lots of food/drink options Also close to seaport for those cruising to/from Vancouver. The hotel itself seems to be an original older part and a newer tower. Can only speak to the older building, but very basic not too updated but functional. Rooms small and double/double leaves little space for "spreading-out". Overall a satisfactory experience certainly removed from luxury however. October 6, 2014

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Directions are important First trip to Vancouver. The hotel is reasonably comfortable and well located. It's the first time in a long while, as a Platinum member, that I have had to wait for a room until 3pm! This really made it not a desirable hotel for my 36 hour stopover in Vancouver. The staff really weren't friendly and it seemed to be an effort to get help. The biggest problem was that they seemed incapable of giving directions. Every time I asked for help they sent me on a wild, goose chase. I simply wanted to buy a bottle of wine and having walked for a kilometre or 2 found the staff had pointed me in a direction that was exactly 180 degrees opposite to where I needed to go. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by 4 nights vacation stay Stayed 4 nights, 4 of us 2 couples, our first visit to Vancouver. Hotel ideally placed for walking everywhere. Welcoming friendly staff. Bar area good after a long day out. Only had one meal in the bar one evening; very good quality. Only downside was breakfast, in short absolute chaos so only had on first morning thereafter at one of the numerous cafe alternatives just outside. We’d definitely stay again. September 21, 2014
