Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 Very Rude Staff The Reception staff was very rude and unfriendly and they don't even know to greet people. This was the worst ever hotel experience i had. Rest all was good but cos of the Rude staff looking unhelpful and taking rudely to you. August 8, 2014

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Nothing special The stay was ok but some improvement can make the experience better. The hotel was a bit old, and the room deco was out-dated. The glass door of the shower could not shut completely, so water was everywhere in the toilet after shower. The staff can satisfy my need but not very friendly. The parking indicate 20 minutes free, but the guy from the parking lot required me to pay. I could not communicate with him, as he don't understand English. August 7, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Very Rude staff and poor service The staff was extremely rude. Did not greet us at check-in and took a very long time to check-in. Restaurant staff was even more rude and did not fix our problems even after bringing it to their attention. Hotel management gave us the cold shoulder and simply told us that is the best they can do. Will never stay at this location. August 3, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 Great for weekend in Venice After reading some reviews we were a little apprehensive but it turned out to be a great stay. We arrived early and asked to check in, the reception staff could not have been more helpful. They found us a room and in a few minutes and got us checked in. The room was clean, quiet and had a good hot shower. We asked about the shuttle bus into Venice but the lady at reception advised us to use the local bus service and drew us a map. The bus was very easy find and we used it all weekend. On the Saturday night we chose to eat at the hotel due a sudden violent thunderstorm. Again the staff were very helpful and polite, and the food was good for a hotel restaurant if a little pricey. The man running the restaurant was also the barman so you had to catch his attention to get a drink but he did both with a smile and a friendly chat. We would definitely stay again. Thanks. Ich empfehle dringend eine Komplettsanierung des Hotels. Dies ist aber offensichtlich nicht erforderlich, da man täglich Reisebusse mit Touristen durchschleust. July 19, 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Tired hotel. Not the best welcome to people coming to Venezia It looks like really little changed from when this hotel was a MotelAgip. GOld Elite status was not acknowledged, parking is 10Eur a night, and it's outside. The decor and furniture is VERY tired, and the restaurant is a joke. A poor buffet, for 25 Eur. To add insult to injury, my little child wanted to have a pizza, but it was not available for hotel guests, only as a take away, despite advertising that pizza was now available (ps look at the lifts, temptation is grossly misspelled). I booked a triple + an added crib, only to have a room with two double beds put together and the crib. So my wife, I and one of our little children, slept all together in the same (although very big) bed. We decided to skip breakfast as we had no confidence in it. Also, we noticed that the staff gets overfriendly with guests, at least with foreign ones. As an italian, to be fair, I did not have the same experienced. Positive note, the welcome plate with fruit received shortly after checking in our room. Holiday Inn, you can do MUCH better, even if it means retouching prices. July 18, 2014
