We had to take our old dog, very nice that they allow small dogs.
No problem with other dogs. If you want the beach and not have to drive everywhere this is the place. We only drove the car twice in 6 days.

After a snowy winter in NY, This was the place I needed to relax and regenerate before attending a wedding. I highly recommend this Holiday Inn Vero Beach to anyone traveling in this area. Family friendly but also offers the peace and quiet needed.

My husband and I were in dire need to escape from a stressful situation that we are dealing with in Vero Beach. We discovered Mulligans earlier on in the month and visited there a few times. When it came time to spend a night away we couldn't imagine having chosen anyplace other than the Holiday Inn on the beach.

I have been an IHG Member for over 10 years. So far this year I have stayed 30 nights at IHG hotels across Canada & United States (qualified for Platinum Member every year) let alone meeting rooms and catering. Last year 2014 I stayed 30 weeks out of 52 in IHG hotels. My wife and I decided to take a weeks holidays. I booked the room 2 months in advance Queen bed ocean side. When we arrived at 2 PM our room was not ready...not a problem. We got our room at 4 PM street side. The following day when we went to get pool towels there was a person asking if they had ocean side rooms available. They where told yes they have 3 left one was an executive suite. They where quoted prices and said they would look at other hotels down the road. I have never stayed in such a small room. Our room had a 1 full bed (not a queen). You had to stay standing to close the bathroom door before sitting on the john. The bath tub had the old school 3 turn knobs for the shower. The water temp was scalding hot and then ice cold when you showered. We went out to tour the area and came back to find no parking spots. I asked and was told lots of people have visitors and take up 2 or more parking spots...go park on the street but you have to move vehicle every 3 hours. I had to get bath towels off of the room cart every day because we only got hand towels replaced in our room.
All in all I think it is time to move my corporate business to another chain of hotels that will respect my business.
DON'T STAY AT THIS LOCATION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

While the overall experience was fine, to surrender a significant number of Rewards Club points for a such a small room without many amenities was a disappointment. For example, one luggage rack for a couple with 2 pieces of luggage just doesn't cut it. Should not have to use a chair to hold luggage. Also, the room had one sink.

Rooms were updated, nice, beds comfortable, newer bedding, great pillows, location is right on the ocean. Staff was exceptionally friendly. Hotel looks older on the outside but was really nice on the inside.
