We stayed at this hotel with our soccer team and my 13 yr old son's bag was stolen out of our hotel room with a brand new Macbook, chargers, Bose headset, and expensive shoes and clothing! Reported to management as well as called the police and nothing has been done about it. Hotel has no cameras on grounds and this hotel doesnt seem to care that someone at their hotel stole almost $2,000 worth of my son's belongings. We are just devastated over this and would never recommend this hotel to anyone!!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by NMONTE Hotel and restaurant directly on Oceanfront
Stayed here for two days to meet up with old High School friends had not seen in 50 years! Had a wonderful stay. We had dinner facing the ocean, drinks after and stayed at a hotel table outside near the pool till 2 AM talking. The hotel had an overnight security guard who was friendly and kept watching over us. We felt so safe

The front desk staff were beyond amazing! Cassie, Jeff, Jennifer, Deana and the others, went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Great job guys!
Housekeeping did a wonderful job the whole time, and I can not say enough how nice and professional they were!
Maintenance crew was superb! My first night there I couldn't get into my room, the door lock was jammed, so they finally got me in the room after fighting with the door for 10 minutes and showed up the next morning and fixed the problem. Tom and Jeff (I think that's his name, the guy with the long hair) were so nice and helpful!
The whole Holiday Inn Vero Beach-Oceanside staff was absolutely awesome. I honestly can't praise them enough for the outstanding job they did!

I have an issue with this survey. Comments are mandatory and without I cannot submit survey. This wastes my time

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by invinceble convenient location on beach, but street-side rooms noisy
The hotel itself is ideally situated on the beach, walking distance to shops and dining. The staff was superb, the rooms were clean and functional, and the price was attractive compared to other Vero lodging. However, our room faced the street, and the noise from vehicles stopping and starting at the nearby intersection made it sound like a big-city thoroughfare. Especially noisy were the motorcycles cruising Ocean Drive, a situation probably aggravated by the fact that our first morning there was a mild-weather Sunday.
However, we were able to upgrade to an ocean-side room for our next two nights. Now THAT was idyllic -- like being on another planet compared to the street side! Worth every penny of the additional expense.
If I book this hotel again and can afford the extra cost, I will choose the ocean side. If you are budget conscious, request a room facing the parking to the north, which will shield you from some of the street racket. Note that the only room choice on the north-facing side is two double beds. The interior (poolside) rooms, priced in the middle, should certainly be quieter than those on the street side.
If I were rating this property on the ocean-side room only, I would have given five stars, or three stars based only on the street-side room. My final rating splits the difference.

Great location. Nice to have refrigerator in room and they accommodated my request to check out one hour later.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by badhotel1000 Would NOT recommend this hotel
I stayed there Saturday. When taking a shower the water goes hot and cold. They said maybe it was a bad mixing valve which is not something easily fixed, so the issue was left unresolved. All night long the a/c would rev up and starting making loud noises. When I checked out and mentioned it, there didn't seem to care. There was mold along the base boards at the door in the bathroom. This is a really old hotel and you can tell. The food at the restaurant Mulligans that is attached was terrible as well. I tried some nachos. The ground beef was actually a burnt hamburger that was broken up. They took it back and I tried the chicken nachos. It was terrible as well, so I picked out the small 3 or 4 pieces of chicken and aet that. No comment from the waiter who ignored that fact I barely touched it. Most places check back to make sure the second dish was acceptable. A friend of mine was staying at the case de estes a couple doors down. I hung out over their for a while and it was awesome. Great food and service. You will spend about $50 more but it's worth it. This hotel was more like a $50 dollar a night no tell motel. I haven't stayed in a Holiday Inn in years. Now I know why. I won't be doing it again....ever.
