Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Friendly Staff, Cold room It was nice to walk into a room that was actually cold and not have to sweat for the first hour of our stay. The staff was friendly and helpful, the room was large and comfortable. The pool turned out not to be heated which was a disappointment. The breakfast "buffet" didn't offer a lot of variety and ran out of food, which didn't get refilled, even though there weren't many people there and it was early morning. It seemed like there were only 2 people working in the whole place: the hostess and the cook. Nice enough, but seriously, you run out of strawberries and just leave oranges for the fruit? There also seemed to be a lot of noise during the night. People partying in their rooms or the hallways. Some loud music outside, etc. It was hard for us since we had our 2 year old with us and had long drives the day before and after. Could have just been prom. But just be aware of the thin windows/walls. That being said, I would still probably stay here again given where it is situated and the people who work here May 5, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very Nice Hotel This is the second night in a row that we stayed at a HI, as opposed to our normal HIE. Again, we were surprised at how nice this hotel was. We have been unhappy with a number of HI's in the past, but the prior night in Little Rock and now Vicksburg is causing us to change our mind. The staff was VERY welcoming, friendly, and efficient. The room and the hotel in general was very clean, and well maintained. AND, this hotel, unlike the HI in Little Rock, provides complimentary coffee in the morning. They also offered a reasonably priced breakfast buffet. A very nice hotel. May 5, 2015

Room was not cleaned from prior guest when we got there at 6 pm, although housekeeper was called in to clean it 3. Unable to get network TV 4. Tub was dirty and shower curtain was totally snapped wrong. I had to resnap it in order to take a shower April 1, 2015

Great job of entire staff - Breakfast here at this location is enjoyable compared to others IHG properties April 1, 2015
