we have been there while ballet competition in the congress center. the staff is very nice and aöways there when you need. we had a room with view to the "drau" (river)...excellent!
the beds a a dream. you have a nespresso coffe machine in the room (what else :-)) and the bathroom is very clean and nice. BUT, when guests are older or not very good with feets, don`t take a room with bathtub. the reason.... the bathtub is nearly 40 cm high (or more?) and bathtub edge almost 20 cm!... so when you wanna take a shower you have to climb :-D. i have to lift my 9j old daughter in the bathtub so she could take a shower.
next time we take a room only with shower.... but the rest was perfect!
if you have business dates in the congress center.... you can reach the center without going on the street trough a glass bridge from hotel tocongress center, perfect!
the bar has also perfect food (the restaurant was full) and it was very chilling we had the XL burger and caesar salad and enjoyed the view to the river in the sunshine...... to the little but very clean city you go 2-3 min. over the bridge.... ENJOY VILLACH!

Stayed their before, but this time they made us book two rooms with our two little babies. The rooms are big enough but according to their manager two babies (aged 1 and 3) are counting as full and therefore we need to book a separate room. Therefore they also gave us the mandatory upgrade for the status.
Really bad experience how a hotel handles guests and what service excellence counts to them!

Until now the Best Holiday Inn that i visit. Super Smoke Lounge, very good restaurant , exzellent staff.

Very well situated on the Drau river. Rooms to the river cost more but the view is really nice. The staff is not that friendly, especially for the breakfeast crew. Management told me they will improve. Spa is nice. Garage and Wlan is free. Espresso machine in the room makes it perfect.

It is a great hotel, the only thing I did not like was that I had to pay for the river view this time.
