The staff at this hotel does and excellent job and are a real plus if and when you need assistance. The overall quality is very good and they keep the rooms clean and comfortable. The dining room could use updating however the food quality was excellent even when served for our banquet functions. They do need a little more staffing in the dining rooms when reunion groups are on site but again the staff did a good job even under stress. Very comfortable and pleasant stay.

I found this hotel to be comfortable and I was able to get good sleep with no problems. There is an on site restaurant open from about 6am-10pm daily. There is also a lounge in the lobby that serves drinks until 11pm.

Everything went without a hitch at this fine REUNION FRIENDLY hotel thanks to Betsi Radd, Sales manager, and her efficient staff. Special thanks to Crystal, Yolanda, Todd, The Pizza Server in Catering and Don, DOS. Also the waiter in the lobby bar and the two Mezzanine hospitality gals during the welcome reception. These are the names as I remember but many more are behind the scenes I am sure. Our hospitality room worked out well with overflow into the hotel lobby. We had absolutely no complaints about anything.

This is the only hotel I stay at when in Virginia Beach. The hotel staff are awesome, friendly and accommodating. They never make you feel like you are an intrusion to their day. The hotel itself is one of the cleanest that I have ever stayed at. Great value and great hotel!

Between Paulie, Laurie, and Holly the amusement never stops. These guys practically make the hotel. Beautiful bar with great personalities behind it. There is a reason why every night weekday or weekend there are hardly any seats left open at their bar, these guys are great. Very nice place to spend the evening.

Hotel was very nice. Staff in Housekeeping and Front Desk very courteous. Restaurant breakfast had a lot of selection but not all the food was fresh, ie French Toast, Waffles and Pancakes were hard. Had to ask the waitress for our drinks and then didn't return to refill our coffee. Out of of 6 days only 1 day did we have a waitress that we didn't have to ask for drinks or refills.

I come here to relax after a long drive to spend the night and continued my travel the next day. Holiday Inn was my first choice unless there's no room availability, before going to any hotel to relax. I feel safe and more relax in this area. The staff were very helpful and they make sure I will not wait long for my room.

Our stay was reasonably priced, however our sleep quality was a one star. It seems all Holiday Inn's have the same vent units which are beyond loud and sound like a plane landing when they kick on. No way to adjust the fan, just the temperature. So you either sacrifice quiet with being warm or cool with a plane cycling to land every 30 minutes.
