Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Poor room layout This was for a "King Suite" room. The bedroom was too small, the bathroom was minimal. Light switches in bedroom hall did not operate anything. Only light in room was a bedside lamp. There was a useful kitchenette, but no table, no desk, just a smaller sofa. No TV in the room either, so it was mostly lost space. Door to the room did not fit the opening, so had to wake up the entire hotel just to close the door. Staff in the restaurant for the most part were always in the back and not attentive to arriving guests. But when they discovered you were there they were attentive. Most spoke ESL, so it was difficult to communicate. My company travel coordinator chose this hotel for close proximity. Also, the hotel was very difficult to find at night. It was off street, and you had to find the little lane next to what looked like an abandoned bank building (it looked like it was part of the building's parking lot. There was a somewhat obscured sign, but it was not lit at night. Took me three tries during the day to figure out how to get to the hotel directly from the street. June 29, 2015

Construction going on through out the hotel, The workers never bothered anyone and were very courteous. Usually the Holliday Inn doesn't have dinner and breakfast, but they did here. I enjoyed the dinner. I never tried breakfast. June 22, 2015

And when alerting the hotel staff about my experience I was basically told to wait it out and hope for the best. Good job Holiday Inn June 17, 2015

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Wake up to sweet harmony of buzzing saws, hammers and moving furniture? I was not informed that the hotel was under massive renovation. So much so that I was barely able to identify the building as a Holiday Inn. Knowing that hotel was being renovated would've at least allowed me to decide rather I stay or choose another Holiday Inn in the city. Instead, I was awaken to the buzzing of saws, slamming of hammers and banging of moving furniture. When bringing my discomfort to the front desk, I was told that they'd move my room but it was likely that I'd be awaken the next day from the same noise and to "wait it out". Not to mention the daily reminders that house keeping was about to clean my room. Normally this is a pleasant knock at the door followed by "Housekeeping!" Not here...Each day, the housekeeper banged on the door with a room key and opened the door saying "Housekeeping". June 13, 2015
