Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 Vacation in DC
We had a very nice stay. Rooms were clean and comfortable. It was secure, main doors were locked at 11:00PM, which is nice. The only thing that I thought was overpriced was the breakfast buffet. $15 for barely warm eggs and fruit seems a bit much. Plus, service in the restaurant really wasn't that good. It seems to me (as a former server) that were were not enough employees in the restaurant, so I that's management's fault, not the employees. Overall, stay was good. If you choose to take the Metro, know that the Blue and Red lines are both 5 blocks away from the hotel, and there isn't a stop very close to the National Mall. Wear great shoes, drink water and it will be fine.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by S'momma Comfortable bed, great location!
Nice location, good security, clean pool with lifeguard and an especially comfortable bed made this a great choice. Hotel does not advertise any restaurants nearby except the one in their lobby. We did not eat there, but found a number of excellent places to eat - including several that were Zagat rated. There's a grocery store and 24 hour pharmacy within about two blocks. The neighborhood is very trendy and a Circulator stop two blocks away. Very convenient!!
