Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Very Good Service Stayed recently on a family trip and found the hotel to be in a very good location for a trip to DC. The stay was very comfortable and the staff was very attentive to our needs. Moyses at the front desk was particularly helpful and accommodating during check in. Betty and Yeshi were just unbelievable in serving us in the restaurant, some of the best service ever. The one dark spot of my stays in this hotel, and it has been many, is the internet. Quite frankly, it stinks. The speeds were between .2 and .6 mps. Most times it was so slow it was unusable. Fortunately I had another internet service available during the day. If there was one thing that would keep me from staying here again it would be the totally unsatisfactory internet speed. April 14, 2015

Shuttle staff went above & beyond, offering dining tips, driving tips, what to see off the "tourist track" and super flexible if we changed our minds on destination mid-way thru! Room was your traditional 2 bed hotel room, nice & clean. Breakfast buffet had a large variety, just wish it was included in price of room automatically like at some other Holiday Inns. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Cigarette/Smoke Odor The overall experience was good. Unfortunately some guests does not take non smoking signs very seriously. The heavy smoke odor in the "Non- Smoking" room made it hard to breath I had to open the window which made the room a bit chili. In addition I wish there was some soap trays available, to avoid putting it directly on the bathroom sink after opening the package. I missed a mini refrigerator in the room as well. April 12, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Clean rooms We stayed at The Holiday Inn Georgetown 4/8-4/9 2015, Location nice with lots of restaurants and shopping in the town. The room was clean., though I found the kerig coffee maker that was located in the bathroom was in an unsanitary location. . Hotel was a bit far from the monuments and museums . Convenient public transportation such as bus and cab if you wanted to pay for transportation . Hotel offered free shuttle to attractions, but neglected mention that a reservation was needed to and from attractions. The transportation for the hotel shuttle was completely booked during our stay. We took the bus to get around. The staff at the desk was friendly at times , but then at times not so friendly depending on who you got. The gentleman at the front door was very friendly and our waitress Betty in the hotel restaurant was wonderful and very nice! I would recommend this hotel and would stay there again, but now that I am aware that reservations are needed for free hotel shuttles I will do that in advance . That should be relayed to the customers at time of reservation or at check in. April 12, 2015
