The room was good, except I couldn't help but to notice there was a lot of dirt/dust on the carpet along all the walls, and especially between the beds & night stand. I had to move the couch to retrieve an item I dropped, and it was pretty dirty under/behind the couch.
The restaurant was pretty dead on a Thursday night. They don't seem to get much traffic, the service was a little slow, but the food was good.
The exercise room was pretty limited and I chose to go for a run instead of using the little equipment they had.
Overall it wasn't a bad place and I enjoyed the stay. Just missing some of the details. Georgetown was a great location.

Really close to a store which has a 24 hours Starbucks. Its also close to Georgetown University, American University is not far away and George Washington is a little under 5 miles away. VA is less than 2 miles away.

We liked the location away from the center of the city yet easily accessible to tourist stops. There were cute boutiques and restaurants in the neighborhood to enjoy. The hotel was generally comfortable and the room was adquate in size.

Just prior to labor day a friend of mine suggested doing a road trip over the long weekend. With little time to spare I logged into the IHG Website and did a search for Washington DC. The Georgetown location seemed most reasonable and had fairly good reviews. I went ahead and booked the location for a couple nights and added on the breakfast package as to not have to fuss with finding something in the morning. Upon arrival we were met with a unenthusiastic greeting (given it was late) but it seemed nothing was ready as I would typically expect as an IHG Rewards Club Member. The front desk personal got us checked in timely but didn't even notice I had added on the breakfast package. When I asked about it they seemed somewhat shocked and acted as if it wasn't on the reservation. I offered my phone to show that it indeed was on the e-mail confirmation. Once that was cleared up we were given the vouchers for breakfast and we were on our way to the room. The room was descent enough and the hotel seems fairly modern yet somewhat dated. Everything was clean and comfortable however so I have no complaints there. The location is a quick and fairly inexpensive Uber away from the Washington DC mall and there is plenty to see and do locally. That being said the stay was overall very nice. When checking out I had the exact opposite interaction with the front desk personal. I was met with a VERY enthusiastic young lady who thanked me for being an IHG Rewards Club Member and of course for the business. She ensured the bill was correct and I was on my way. In closing I just want to thank Corrine for that wonderful experience during check out. It's a shame my check-in experience wasn't the same but this helped redeem the whole experience in my mind.

Avoid this property at all costs! Find a Holiday Inn Express a little further away. This property is in desperate need of updates to the guest rooms. The bathrooms are dirty and there was mold in the shower.

We have been to this Hotel repeatedly, but had not taken advantage of their pool until this late August stay and my wife and I were pleased with the facility provided. We continue to rave about the breakfast served and the staff that serves it... still NOT to be missed.
