Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Comfortable, clean and spacious room My room was much more spacious than I was expecting or needed but it was nice to have that anyway. The room was very modern, clean, laid out well. Mattress and pillows were awesome. Public areas were clean, well maintained and inviting. I would stay here again. September 1, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Always a pleasurable stay. We have stayed at this Hotel a few times on our trips to the University of South Carolina. Each time has been very satisfying. The only issue is when the price goes way up due to activities going on at the university, but I guess that is the way it goes at all the hotels. Have never had a bad experience. The pool was unavailable during this trip which was the only bummer. August 23, 2015

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Mediocre experience The hotel is adequate, staff are friendly, maintenance is poor. My room was comfortable except the desk chair was broken (could not adjust height) and the hot water was tepid. I also do not like entering the hotel through a cloud of smoke from employees or guests. Unless you have a voucher, pass on the breakfast buffet. Food is OK but not worth the cost. August 8, 2015

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Business trip w/family The hotel was modern in appearance, however the pool area was adjacent to other much older motel and the siding was falling off the building, for that reason we did not feel safe in the pool area. The desk chair was soiled badly, so felt it necessary to cover it with a towel, before sitting in it. The service at the restaurant was very bad and slow, although only about 7 or 8 people there. Food was less than good and did not require a lot of cooking just heating of prepared food. Had to ask for salad after meal was served. August 4, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Will not stay here again Found a sock in my bed and it didn't belong to me? No hot water when I got up the next morning, complained to the desk. They said they would look into it. No hotwater that evening complained to the desk, they said they would look into it. Got up the next morning no water at all. Had an important business meeting and could not take a shower. The location was right next to a very old run down hotel with sketchy activity going on in the parking lot. When I asked the front dest for compensation for the water issue I was turned down cold! I told the front desk I would not be staying here again and my complaint fell on death ears. Not sure I will stay at IHG hotels at all after this. August 3, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Poor Service and Quality There were several issues with the service and quality of my recent stay at this hotel. 1) The maid service did not replace the linens upon request. 2) The maid service did not replace the soap, shampoo, and conditioner in the bathroom. 3) The water in my shower was not hot and lost pressure during the final three days of my stay. 4) The hotel guest laundry would not work during one of the weekends during my stay. Overall, this nice and new hotel is starting to degrade due to poor maintenance and cutting corners. August 3, 2015
