I want to share the splendid time I experienced this past week at Jordan Creek Holiday Inn & Suites. From the warm friendly reception to the beautiful ultra clean rooms with the best showers I've been in at any hotel to the dinner in house at their Johnnies Italian Steakhouse and a fabulous morning buffet...this place is memorable. I'm looking forward to my next stays.

We were very disappointed there was not a continental breakfast offered at the hotel. We are Gold Priority Club members and were very disappointed there was no breakfast. We ended up having to check out very early to go find breakfast. Very disappointing.

The suite was exceptionally quiet & comfortable. The location @ Jordan Creek Mall was very nice. The bar/restaurant was not very conducive for relaxation seemed to be loud and noisy.

We enjoy this Holiday Inn, however on our last trip, we had ordered breakfast and it never came. When we called down, they said they would send it right up..never came. I checked the bill and we were charged and the desk took it off and apologized.
Easy location to get to and a great great restaurant.

I have stayed at this hotel every few months for the last three years. This consistent level of expertise, cleanliness and comfort are just about impossible to beat. The hotel is regularly fully booked and there is a reason for that. The rooms are the highest level of appointments of any on this chain I have seen to date. The staff clearly makes cleanliness and attention to detail a priority. I have not had much need to request staff assistance and that is due to not needing any assistance.
The Johnny's Steakhouse and bar are top notch. I doubt you can find a single entre that doesn't delight. I've tried and I cannot single out anything on the menu after at least two dozen stays that I would not recommend.
I do wish the hotel had a continental breakfast offering. Those of us who travel on business often have a limit for stays and the rate at this location prevents me from adding the great but pricey breakfast to the room.
Make sure you take advantage of the pool, and workout room. I like how they were thought out and don't feel like an afterthought like most other locations.

The incorporated restaurant 'Johnnies Italian Steakhouse' serves excellent food at a fair price. Hotel rooms are always very clean and staff is always more then willing to help accommodate us with any request.

I stayed in the presidential suite. The whirlpool tub worked really well. The whole suite was very lovely.It was very clean. It was nice that the hotel was close to shopping. The staff was friendly. I needed some extra towels and they brought them up right away. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. I would stay there again in the future.

I recently stayed here with my 2 kids, ages 9 and 11. We had a great time at the pool with some friends in the area who came over to join us. This was our third stay at this hotel, but it might be our last. We turned in for bed around 10-10:30, and were abruptly awaken by doors slamming, people laughing and carrying-on at 2:15 in the morning. I called the front desk to report this, as now all of us were awake. The staff person assured that he would take care of things. The noise diminished for the most part, but over 15-20 minutes time. However, the rowdy group then restarted the party at 3:30am. Again, I called to the front desk and was told, "I already spoke with them, they came down to the lobby and now they must be returning to their room". That didn't help matters, because they were still very LOUD. So now I had been up for over an hour and a half. In the morning, I noticed that there were very few vehicles in the parking lot. I felt that the staff put everyone on the 6th floor with us! Apparently there was a wedding at the hotel, but it was very rude to have those guests assigned to the same floor as other guests not participating. We were all exhausted the next day. When I mentioned it to the staff as we were checking out, the only response I got was, "I'm sorry to hear that". I might have to look into other places when coming to West Des Moines again.

We stayed 2 nights as part of a wedding party. Our room was very comfortable, and the staff were great - able to cheerfully answer all of our questions. The banquet room for the wedding reception and the service there were excellent. We really enjoyed the breakfast buffet at Johnnie's. The wait staff was very attentive and friendly.

The hotel looked modern and new but looked like some of the furniture there was from their old hotel before this one was built. There was a cabinet for a refridgerator but not one there you have to ask for one hotel staff said they do this to save money (energy) so if you want one you need to request it. Hotel food was good. The bar closes at 11:00pm as it looked like the hotel lobby also shut down too around midnight. They had a a security guard at the front desk reading and light dimed down low lobby chairs pushed together. I felt like I need not to make any noise. I felt like I need not to make any noise. I would not recommend this place if having a family reunion (wedding). The front desk had no cashbox or ATM. Had to go to a nearby bank.

Staff was excellent checking in. Not so nice checking out. Refused to apply my reward point credit to my account because "you didn't even pay for your stay." It was a business expense that WAS able to be points on my rewards card. I was later rewarded my points by customer service.
